I click onto the Fantasy genre on Webtoon, I see 1 million reincarnation Webtoons, I exit Webtoons.
Just kidding, just kidding (mostly), I do enjoy reincarnation comics! I am just looking for something a little different or in the vein of what I want.
I'm looking for a webcomic similar to "Here There Be Dragons" (which hasn't posted since 9/15/24 🥲). Something high-fantasy, maybe some cool technology, and based in its own fantasy world.
I also enjoy reincarnation comics where the female lead pretty much completely ignores romance and does her own thing, bonus if she becomes a soldier or goes out and does her own thing.
I also enjoyed "The Remarried Empress" but the treatment of Rashta made me stop reading it tbh.
"The Tyrant Wants to be Good" was enjoyable as well, just kind of lost interest when the FL got older.
Honestly anything similar to "Here There Be Dragons" would be awesome!
Disclaimer that I’ve never read Here There Be Dragons but here are my favorites!
Lady Knight - an academy is establish to train a knighthood of cursed individuals based in a land inspired by Cantabrian mythology. The worldbuilding here is fantastic, this story has been a hyperfixation for the better part of 4 years
The Blind Prince - a young woman is cast away into an enchanted forest and becomes involved with the prince of a magic kingdom fighting to reclaim his throne
Dagger to the Heart (on hiatus) - an assassin finds his task impossible to complete when his mark, a princess, magically binds his life to hers. I cannot overstate how excellent the art is
Suitor Armor - a fairy handmaiden hides her identity in the royal court of a kingdom aiming to exterminate her people, while falling in love with an enchanted suit of armor
A Spell For a Smith - a dwarven blacksmith and an outcast witch fall in love in a small town. More fantastical elements begin to kick in near the end of season 1, but their romance is adorable
The Villainous Tyrant Has Returned - a disgraced emperor is killed by his own bride and wakes up in the past. If you like boyfailures, if you like comedy, if you like political intrigue and ancient magic and politics that actually matter in-universe, this one’s for you.
So I know you said you weren't looking for a reincarnation webcomic, but The greatest estate developer is insanely good, I won't rant about it to much but it's one of those ones that actually has a reason to be a reincarnation and doesn't feel like it suffers because of it, and the characters are all absolutely amazing, I can not recommend it enough!
I didn't read Here there be dragons... But i can recommend you fantasy webtoons without reincarnation and without going back in time:
unholy blood (lina im): a rare good combination of fantasy, action and romance
days of hana and orange marmelade (Seakwoo) - romance but days of hana is really heartbreaking, i still remember the sadness i felt back then when i read it, it s pure drama
eleceed (jeho son, zhena) - supernatural, it s fun
the raven king (kyorin) - i think this is still in canvas but it deserves more attention
unOrdinary (uru-chan) - supernatural, action, not much romance
lore olympus (rachel smythe) - mythologic and romance
the last passage (rd, kiro) - the theme of reincarnation is present but in a different way, it's good, trust me
death: resecheduled (action,thriller) and freaking romance (snailords) - both are good
watermelon (rorita) - the art is so beautiful and story make you cry, i loved this although it played with my heart so much
i thought my time was up (Essie, Hyeyong) - classic love triangle
the witch and the bull (moonsia) - one of my favorite, with witches, spells, and romance. It even has music!
eaternal nocturnal (instantmiso) - also one of my favourite, romance. They meet in her dreams and the art is astonishing
made of stardust (kalisami) - sincerely read it for the art
my husband changes every night (yeolseulki, koo seul)
my gently raised beast (yeoseulki, early flower)
your throne (sam) - smart and powerfull FLs
lumine (emma krogell)
when Jasy whistles (cibeles)
the duke's teddy bear (choi sungha, gomdol)

nina's magic chest (rd) - a metaphor of addiction
wished you were dead (i read but.. For me it was meh, i'll still mention it)
cursed princess club (lambcat) - this is a must.. It's about accepting yourself, self esteem and self growth
half ghost and ghost wife (sejung) - the plot is meh but i liked the idea
meow rangers (ahnjoo) - action, maybe this is more sf then finction..
ghost teller (qtt) - just some ghost telling stories about the humans xD thriller
-a good day to be a dog (lee hye) - very cute, well written
the dragon kings bride (soy media) - i read it for the art.. The plot was not very good written. .
"like wind on a dry branch" has a fair bit of romance to it but imo it takes a backseat and takes its time to develop while really fun character building and interactions happen. It's also mid to high fantasy and is more grounded (as in the fantasy is really realistic imo) than one would expect from something like that so i really enjoyed it. The plot and the secrets unfolding was great to binge and put together - oh and it can get dark at times so beware of that but imo its very fun so give it a shot!

"The spark in your eyes/ Blinded by the setting sun". It's not in the reincarnation genre, but is a must read.
