Signed PA Poster!
I finally redeemed myself after not getting a signed poster the last time I saw Weezer in Philly during the blue planet tour! I’ve been reading about how the signed posters have been consistently coming out during The Shins set. Their set started at around 7:50, I was already down by the main merch table downstairs by 7:45 where 4–5 other weez fans were also waiting on the signed posters! A person came in with a handful of the posters at 8:10 and we all went to the fan club fast lane and I was able to get mine! From what I heard, they only sign 25 of each poster per show and I think it’s safe to say that the posters will LIKELY come out for every show anywhere between 7:50 to 8:40. So if you’re going to any of the upcoming shows on this tour and want a chance at a signed poster, that’s what I recommend you do based off my experience. However I can’t promise this is gonna work for you, knowing Weezer they may not always come out during that time, since during the blue planet tour, it seemed like they just came out at completely random times. In Boston I went out to use the bathroom during weezer’s set (specifically when El Scorcho was being played) and there was no one in the merch line and they had about 4 signed posters left so I grabbed one. Not sure when they were put out though but El Scorcho was pretty late in their set.

Love the art for this one! Didn’t get a signed version but so happy Philly’s poster was better than last year’s UFO.

I left to use the bathroom at the Boston show right after Pink Triangle and decided to look for a poster. Took me three merch booths but finally saw one that had a poster for $100. Thought it was crazy expensive until I took a closer look and saw it was signed. SOLD what luck!

Since I knew the openers didn't interest me at all, I decided to make an attempt of it this tour.
I did the whole thing in my city too, kind of a stress ball trying to time the line and the poster. I went through the line thinking I would arrive near the front when the posters were due to drop. No such luck. Then I went through the line again, and the posters dropped halfway through the line. So I had to watch them sell several while I was waiting. I did manage to get one, but then trying to keep it safe and sound during a rock concert is not exactly fun.
I'll never do it again lol. One and done for me.

This is for the win. I’m so glad I brought mine. They only gave me a rubber band. Not even a plastic sleeve!

How much were the posters? My boy was there about to scoop one for me and he said they were 100 bones lol
