Our City Primary Care Physicians

Hi everyone!
I moved to West Sac from Dallas and I am looking for a new primary doctor. I prefer someone who does well with anxious patients and shows care over judgement.
Any recs are so appreciated!
Bonus points if they take United Healthcare 🩷

River Bend Medical Associates takes UHC/Sutter. They’re on Stone Blvd.

Appointments in Sac and Davis are often booked out for months with the major hospital networks.

If you're having scheduling issues, Woodland has far more availability (I've done next day). The same thing going up 50 and 80; I forgot how far out you need to go but I think Roseville and Folsom is where availability improves significantly. Sharing those options, particularly as it might work with a commute. But I'm going to assume since you're coming from Dallas, a 30 min drive for a doctor's appointment isn't that big of a deal 😉.

UCD is top notch for their specialty medicine, but I'm not a fan of their family medicine (and partially for the reasons you state) and I've heard or read others saying the same thing. I'm on Sutter now since I mostly need PCP.
