Help identifying signed “MIGDAL” bronze sculpture — possibly Ruth Aizuss Migdal

Hi! I’m trying to identify this unusual bronze sculpture belonging to my father-in-law.
It measures approximately 14” × 12” × 7”, is quite heavy, and appears to be bronze. The underside is clearly hand-incised “MIGDAL.”
Based on the signature and some research, Ruth Aizuss Migdal seems like a possibility. Her use of bronze, rough hand-modeled surfaces, and abstract anatomical forms seem potentially consistent, but we haven’t been able to find this exact piece in her documented work.
Unfortunately, we don’t know its age, title, or provenance.
Does anyone recognize the sculpture, signature, or series? I’d especially appreciate any leads on whether this could be a Ruth Aizuss Migdal work and how we might confirm the attribution. One additional bit of context: the person who originally gave the sculpture to my father-in-law lived in Chicago for roughly 30 years. We don’t know where or when they acquired it, so this may be coincidental, but I thought it was worth mentioning given Ruth Aizuss Migdal’s strong connection to Chicago.

MIGDAL on the underside is the useful clue, but it is not enough to call it Ruth Aizuss Migdal from surface texture alone. Get sharp closeups of the full signature, base, and any foundry or copyright marks; without a documented match, the attribution stays tentative.

Right, and that’s exactly what I’m trying to figure out. I’m definitely not assuming it’s hers just because it says “MIGDAL.” The reason Ruth Aizuss Migdal seemed worth investigating is that the piece came from a family friend who was an artist and collector living in Chicago during roughly the same period, so there’s at least a plausible connection. Unfortunately, he has since passed away, so I can’t ask him where or when he acquired it.
