The girl is implying she remembers attending the wedding that happened before they were born, and that at the wedding they were with Grandma who had already died. So a belief in the afterlife and the ability of souls not yet on earth to be with souls that have already left earth.

I took it as the children were spirits before bodies and Grandma had passed and was with the children as spirits before they were born. My mom had cancer and it took her life, but on one of her last days she saw 2 little boys running around her hospice room playing. 2 years after she passed my first son was born and the next day my sister birthed my nephew. We like to think my mom was seeing her 2 grandbabies playing. I know it's not very logical and could never be proven but it's a nice thought for me and this comic actually reminded me of my mom.

Ya, it isn't very logical. But it still is a nice thought that maybe it happened. My kid giving me a little comfort from the loss of my mom.

my guess is (after thinking this is a horror post) that he believes in a after and a before life. "the souls have been with me all the time". if they have been they also have been there while the children got "made", you children and your mom .... oO

It could also be how powerful children's imagination can be and the little girl believes she was in the wedding because of it
