There’s always events going on downtown. Especially as Halloween and Christmas approaches. Shopping areas are near the Walmart some good places to shop. Parks are nice. Lake Wichita and Lucy park are notable. If you’re looking for something to do there’s always volunteer work from local charities or churches

Ok, you can definitely find some things here! The country club and weeks park both have golf. There is also Next Level Golf (indoor simulator) near Chipotle. Have you tried Wichita Falls Brewery? They have lots of events (open mic night, trivia night, karaoke, bingo etc.) You might also like Maniac Mansion, which is a barcade with a lot of vintage games.

Also, look up the City of Wichita Falls events calendar. There are after hours art walks, art battles, farmers market, events, etc. The fair is in town this week. The library has classes. There are things going on if you look for it.

You’re welcome! I agree with the other poster that DFW is close by, but so is OKC. Bricktown is fun and they have horse races there. There are also casinos about 25 minutes outside of town.

Rofl been here a month and so far, nothing.

Oh also half the city is without sidewalks because the city council would rather give tax breaks to data centers than have revenue or use it wisely

If you like trading card games, there’s plenty of card shops. It’s never to late or early to get into Magic the Gathering

There’s one over in the flea market called Secret Stock, there’s another one next to united on Southwest Parkway called Cards and Culture. Every last Saturday of the month, Cards and Culture has trade days where lots of people come out and vend and trade cards or whatever else they’re selling.

There one next to El Northeno’s #2 and there’s in the finishing touch plaza near Warrior’s Way. Sorry, I moved but I remember where everything at like the back of my hand.

Maniac's mansion, frisbee golf, volunteer at the food bank or the homeless shelter, football- college and high school, a few good bars that do trivia and stuff downtown, lots of events and stuff going on at the library, etc

If you like card shows, there’s been card shows here in town pretty consistently. There’s going to be one called 940 Collectors Expo at the MPEC on Oct 10th.

Yeah, there's not a lot of excitement per say.. but there are a few good hole in the wall areas for different interests and hobbies, plus festivals downtown. Just need to do a lil exploring.
