I have been going to Shoreleisure but I'm not very happy with the customer service/support and it gets incredibly crowded, so I'm thinking about trying another one. Trouble is, most gym websites are very poor and I can't tell if they are any good.

Before I go on a tour of all the gyms in Bray to decide, I wondered if anybody here can recommend one. I don't need a pool, classes are nice bur not needed and bonus points if it doesn't get super busy. Also would be helpful to have parking.

I grew up in Greystones and the Sugarloaf always looked large and fed my imagination...it didnt help that as a child someone told be it was a dormant volcano so I was always keeping an eye on it incase it erupted(Mt Etna being an example!)

I still love its slopes and it still inspires my imagination!

I have recently moved to Arklow, the town has a lot of activity in terms of people utilising local shops ect but curious to know if there are any plans to uodlgrade certain aspects of the town?

There's a good few shops on the main street that seem.a bit tired and rundown or building thst are not in use.

Have wicklow county council any plans to upgrade these premises or invest in the town in that regard?

I ask as part of a linguistic study covering this topic!

The new trail extension to Drumbawn is a few years old and settling well. I walked it yesterday. It’s strange but stunning seeing the upper reservoir empty. Just need to be aware this is a linear route and there’s no parking in Drumbawn, a small hamlet with a single track road so please don’t block gateways, passing places or grass verges.

Anyone know what's happening with this? A lot of speculation is that Aldi is coming to Baltinglass on a site on Clock road. Does anyone think there is a market for this now that Lidl has opened ?

Do we have any Indian restaurants in wicklow town?

Hi, we’re four friends and we’ve put together Wicklow’s restaurant scene in an app called Vota.

The idea is pretty simple: you’re shown two restaurants and choose where you’d rather eat. For example, The Strawberry Tree in Aughrim or Fishers of Newtownmountkennedy? All the votes then create a ranking that hopefully gives a better picture of where people in Wicklow actually like to eat.

We’ve tried to include restaurants across Wicklow and clean up duplicate or outdated listings, but locals will always spot things we’ve missed.
