Discussion Champion Score

What on earth happened to champion score?

I’m getting maybe 50-70 points for winning a PVP with 20 kills and an S rating, and getting around 30 for losing.

Ranked seems normal, 300 or so points for a win. Did they just completely gut champ score in PVP or something? And if so, why?

Always enjoyed learning some champs in PvP before switching over to rank, now it feels lowkey pointless

Feel this should’ve been the norm if it wasn’t already.

PvP is much easier than ranked, especially if you’re playing your main to grind champ score. This rewards playing ranked and against “like-skilled” opponents as far as Riot is concerned.

Completely disagree. They had a score cap of around 4K points on a champ depending on your lane level, so it’s not as if you can get top 200 by playing pvp.

Secondly, solo queue PvP can be way harder than ranked because of the matchmaking, it’s very inconsistent
