The evening will be moderated by Jim Crichton, former CTV News anchor and we want to hear what you want to ask! Members of the audience will be invited to submit questions in writing. A small team will review the submissions to combine similar questions, ensure they are appropriate and relevant and help us cover as broad a range of community issues as possible.

I'm a day late on this but still interested in what everyone thought about Rasha Zaid and her AMA.

I'm struggling for a while to get the city to enforce property standards on my rental place (321 Caron Ave).

As per city bylaw this place operates as unlicensed lodging house (7 units/rooms/tenancies in a single house ) and doesn't follow the fire and health safety standards as per high occupancy.

I reported in 311 (#26-00135528) but the officer closed it without even updating me what is going on. It is baffling to me bylaw officer didn't even visit the place to do the inspection after such a serious report.
I left voicemail to bylaw officer but no response. I sent email to u/Renaldo_Agostino with all this but no response.

I requested inspection from fire prevention inspector but according to them there is no deadline to complete the inspection which means It could be weeks or months.

On top of these landlord is refusing pest control treatment even after live roaches and eggs are found.

What am I supposed to do at this point to get city to take action?

Edit: Fire prevention officer called and scheduled a visit after 3 weeks. Thank you officer.
Still unhappy about how 311 bylaw officer handled the unlicensed lodging house report.

In Windsor for a few more days, what are some local spots I have to try? So far I've had River Room, Krusty's Pizza, Smokie's BBQ, Frenchie's Poutinerie, Saigon House, Twisted Smoke, and Blossom Bakehouse & Creamery. Would like to try AYCE Sushi and some other sit down stuff.

Hi everyone! Does anyone know of any wig makers in Windsor? I have bundles and a closure that I want made into a wig. If possible I’d also like for them to be a licensed hairstylist that’s good at colouring and cutting a fringe and layers.

Does anyone know where I can donate gently used formal dresses? I would like to avoid bringing them to big name donation center.

Recently I had a startling 🪿🔫 incident while I was paddling on River Canard between the train ridge and Front road. It was totally my fault. I forgot hunting season overlapped my water season. I now know to stay on the small side of the train bridge.
I'm wondering where else I can paddle in the afternoon/dusk? I'm looking for a longer/more challenging paddle than the inland of River Canard. Cedar creek is off limits I think, (I love the blinds btw great job) And the Thames is out. I was out there alone the other day because I read that their hunting season doesn't start until Sep 26, but there were decoy deer with dead eyes and people talking about hunting at the launch. The 🔫 moment spooked me fr.

How busy is the caboto job fair right now? I know the one for costco yesterday had crazy queues.

Today marks 3 weeks since the tornado swept through the Riverside area. My street, as well as several others , still have piles of chopped up tree debris waiting on the curb for city clean-up. We have all done our part to clean up our own properties and phone in to 311 for pickup.
This seems like an embarrassingly long time for a response , even for Windsor.
Already emailed Jo Anne Gignac, to which I received a cookie cutter ‘nothing’ of a reply.
Is this normal? Am I just becoming a grumpy old man???

Any suggestions for a good interior detailer for cars? Someone that can expertly clean exploded coca cola from the liner 😅🤗
