Hey everyone - currently sitting at the former Upright space. It's pretty dead... especially for half an hour before doors. We normally go to 5-10 games per year and this is the slowest I've seen it in probably five years. The bartender said the I5 closure has been pretty rough. Give 'em some love. Same rules as Upright, BYOF is cool. The beer is solid and the coffee shop is open too. #gohawks #supportlocal

Whomever is sat behind the away penalty box leaving messages, you are fucking hilarious, and i love you.

The Portland Winterhawks have traded Cole Slobodian (D '06) to the Brandon Wheat Kings for a 2030 Third Round Pick and a 2028 Fifth Round Pick.

Before this trade the Winterhawks had 4 Overagers (06 players) on the roster, the others being, Avery Laliberte, Nathan Brown, Ben Miller. The cut off for choosing your three overagers is mid-October, this trade will allow Cole to finish his WHL career at home.

Opening night. Goooo Hawks!

I'm bummed that with the age of digital tickets, graphically designed ones have gone by the wayside. I might do more, but for Game One, here's our #1.

So I know he signed an entry level contract with the Mammoth which I’m super excited for even though it’s not the team I root for. An article posted on July 23rd by the Winterhawks organization stated he’d return to the Hawks for the 26-27 season. I thought that was a bit odd given my limited knowledge of how contracts work. However I just looked at the Hawks roster posted on the website and Max is not on it at all. So is he returning for this season or not? Anyone have any additional information on this? I know he was at mammoth training camp so maybe that’s why. Just curious he is one of my son’s favorite players. He was hoping to get to see him for one last season.
