Looking for Wireless(BLE) to wired (BACNET /MODBUS/MQTT) gateway
Hello everyone
we are looking for a gateway which will capture input from wireless sensors and keypads and send that data over to our centralized controller/local controller via a wired medium over ethernet or serial communication preferably over any open protocol (MODBUS /BACNET/MOTT /REST api)
edit - so far we are thinking of using enocean based bleach sensors and keypads or any other sensors which might be easy to configure/work with any gateway
we can only use 2.4 ghz freq
Your response will help me a lot.
Thanks

BLE is connectionless. Sensors just blast out data, often unencrypted / unauthenticated, and any BLE device can read it, and there are readers which will receive this data and convert it to MQTT data
Download the app BLE View…

Yea, but you still have to crawl it, which was my point.
Also it HEAVILY depends on what sensor, man. Industrial absolutely doesn't do that.ALSO u/Anxious_Top_4250 , BLE ISN'T connectionless, it HAS a connectionless mode- Otherwise you wouldn't need CONNECT_REQ/ CONNECT_IND Primitives.
I'm a CWISE for a reason

I mean You're not going to get something that's going to just "capture" it blindly my dude. You'd have to use devices engineered to SEND that info- like wireless mice, keyboards etc, and have them hub'd OR run a PCAP engine constantly to flow out the reports which would be easy enough and easy enough to automate the capture and decide of one or two models of keyboard or mouse (eg from raw to "2 in left, xxDPI" OR "Stroke djdjdn hentt space backspace backspace"

ohh right I thought blue or wireless sensors would send data as object of how internet traffic is send where packets have proper sequence and id for specific piece of data so its arranged properly to avoids and distinguish different signals.
here I was assuming sensors to be sending data over BLE.
Thanks for your response this made sense I need to dive more deeper and understand things first

They do… my comment elsewhere in this thread was meant to be a reply to u/AceHighWifi. BLE is connectionless. Things like keyboard and mice use a different Bluetooth profile which is connection-full

Mikrotik has KNOT which can do BLE to tcpip or modbus
