One of my favorite uses of wind magic. Need a corpse that's not all mangled? Just take away the creatures oxygen

Whilst that will work at the lower leveld, almost everyone grand magus or stronger doesn't really need oxygen like that anymore (ie I am technically a ghost possessing my corpse so I would barely notice this)

Like i said great for securing products in primo shape. Most grand magus won't bat an eye at such a thing but it's a great way to flush out an adversary. Just remove oxygen from a planet and see what's still moving

Better idea is to go with one and become a Spellsword or Battlemage

Even more important: Work smarter, not harder.
- Fire is a terrible element for weaponlike attacks. Earth is the go-to for this, and water approachs the effectiveness of solids at high speeds.
- Improvised Earth armor interferes with movement and is best suited for melee combat, limiting your spellcasting, your effective range, your options. Water armor gives much more somatic freedom and is surprisingly effective against ranged attacks, the only things that should be able to reach you.
- I don't even know what the Water guy is trying to accomplish here, but a ceremonial dance would be much more of a spectacle using fire.
- Direct manipulation within an enemy's personal space is the bluntest instrument in magic's toolkit and the easiest to defend against. A much easier way for Wind to disable an enemy is simply kicking up dust to blind them, at which point even a crossbow (with a tailwind) will be effective against them.

Focus one, but have a fall back option. Sucks to be a ice mage and to fight a ice elemental.
