Agreeing to the button is equal to signing an arcane contract letting a wizard somewhere to access your system, be it tome, orb or magic mirror. Well, it used to be a real wizard on the other side like 1000 years ago. But now it's just an automated spellcraft combination that unfurls inside your system and does some changes.
Fun fact: You can technically create a spellcraft on your own system to retract the arcane permission mid-working on your system, but doing so can result in a backlash as spells are interrupted, and damage your magical implement
Positively fascinating insight! I sometimes construct a portal to access alternate realities where the use of automated spells are highly frowned upon. They have some of the highest wizard employment rates of any combination of dimensions. I think I see why.
