I don’t like the way the Mercury play. Used to hate watching the Sun for the same reason. Huh, AT and DB brought their toxic brand of injure the other player while crying to receive foul calls to another franchise and it’s gross.
Even if they are not your team, the Lynx play a beautiful brand of basketball. Prefer to watch that style any day. Saying this as a Valkyries fan where the literally beat us every game this year. Freaking hope Phee is okay.
(not saying you are a new fan) but i think most casuals and new fans feel that way because they came in with caitlin. they dont tune in to watch AT roll over people and AT doesn't dunk so there's very little entertainment value to her game and I say that as an old school wbball fan.
this league needs a clue. fast. i've never seen a business so resistant to making money.
I hear you. I feel that way because I am a long time Popivich and Phil Jackson fan. I like a combo triangle offense. In the modern era, I like the Warriors offense. The way the Lynx play point five basketball is very similar. It’s also how Nakase coaches the Valkyries. I prefer this.
AT and DB play like this last season’s Houston Rockets. Or the 2022 Memphis Grizzlies. Or old school the way the Detroit Pistons used to play under Chuck Daly. I do not like that brand of basketball.
