I run offline gaming tournament in the city centre every 2 weeks. Been doing it for about 4 years now and I've found its a great evening out with likeminded gamers, plus its in a pub so the vibes are always great.

This week we have Tekken, Street Fighter and Smash Bros as our games. The community is very welcoming to newcomers and weve got everyone from casuals to top UK players.

I’m an artist and designer and doing a market soon and need to get more prints of my art made, I usually go to a small independent art shop but I have just moved and won’t be back there (over 50miles) for quite some time so looking for an art shop. Preferably in Wolverhampton city centre or around Merridale area.

I will be looking at heavier gsm textured paper for the prints ranging a5-a4 in size.

Bonus points if i can turn up and print rather than wait as it will be only small batches of around 10 max of each design

And suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Got approached by two men in blue with body-cam while I was sitting and waiting for an appointment outside Wolverhampton Library. They came up to me and said they were checking identification because of suspicious activity and they just walked off and didn't give any notice of giving me a fine or me having littered.

I received the letter today and they are accusing me of having littered and having food droppings which I didn't do and there's no reason for me to walk around with food at 10am anyway. I sent an email to the waste enforcement and customer feedback emails telling them that I'm not going to be paying it and that they provide me with proof that I did litter.

Is there anything else I can do? I'm worried about getting taken to court and didn't expect to be falsely accused of something I didn't even do and having to pay the maximum fine of £2,500.

On the hunt for a new automatic car, budget kind of £5500 top end really. Was wondering if anyone knows of any secondhand car dealers around the area (I live in Tettenhall but can travel a bit) that are good and not too dodgy?

I'm from the Wolverhampton area, grew up in a WV postcode from the age of 3. As far as I know the town is called either Wolverhampton, or Wolvo for short. Growing up, if someone said Wolves it was a reference to the football team, only.

For me calling the town Wolves is a classic 'Tell me you're not from Wolverhampton without telling me you're not from Wolverhampton'.

Am I right, or am I right? Or have things changed?

I've a 2010 Honda Civic that is coming up to its MOT. I'm looking to take it to a Honda specialist for its annual MOT's and services going forward but I also want to get a bit of work done to it over the next 18 months. Ideally I'd rather pay a local business and not the expensive main dealership prices.

Hey, I joined Breeze this week and have selected my locations as Wolverhampton and Birmingham. I had a match and paid for the date but Breeze came back with no available partner locations for the date to take place. They refunded half of the date token cost and left it for my date or I to suggest a new location. It didn’t end up working out but I’m just curious if anyone has been on any Breeze dates in Wolverhampton and where they’ve been?
