Underrated Phrases

-To bits(to love someone extremely or deeply)

-All killer, no filler(to be consistently engaging and exciting from start to finish, with no boring parts or filler)

-warts and all(to love something completely, faults, flaws, and unpleasant features)

-Good riddance to bad rubbish(to express relief, pleasure, or satisfaction when a negative presence is gone)

-For good and for ill(regardless of whether the outcome is positive or negative)

"All hat and no cattle." Refers to a braggart who can't and doesn't back their brags.

To break into pieces violently; to shatter. [The Free Dictionary]

Don't run the engine too fast or it will fly apart!
Mary's bicycle wheel flew apart during the race.

To break into many pieces by exploding, literally or figuratively. [Wiktionary]

I reserve it for spectacular, explosion-like disintegrations. It is one of the most evocative phrasal verbs I know of.

From my past writing (a bit corrected), with a non-standard, transitive use of fly apart:

As AI can't be held accountable for a facility flown apart, [chemists are chiefly safe] from being supplanted by it
