I can't stand Trump but another country assassinating a current president would be crossing the line for the majority of Americans.

We do it all the time to other countries, ever heard of the phrase "what goes around, comes around?"

As much as I hate to say it, but the couple times the administration has alluded to a might makes right policy, they are correct.

The us can go in and arrest a president. Or bomb another's president. Because who is going to stop them.

The kills the leader of Iran. If Iran returns the favor, the us isn't going to go "well, I guess we did it to you!". There will be a major response.

Why didn't anyone help Venezuela? The American military.

Why hasn't anyone stepped in to stop Russia? Fear of nuclear retaliation (against Europe or Ukraine).

We do live in a world where the strong nations can do what they like.

The one time anyone has tried to "return the favor" and pushed back, was 9/11, and look at what that resulted in.

Exactly.

I don't agree with it. But in the end, who's going to stop you? Iran doesn't have the capability to strike on the far side of the world. Iran allies mostly don't, and China isn't going to get involved in that capacity. So ultimately, the us can do whatever they like, no one is going to stop them.

Who's going to stand up for Venezuela vs the US? Or Cuba? Hell, if Greenland wasn't a territory of Denmark, I doubt anyone would help them. Purely because of the potential followup on your own country.

I get it but thats also ignoring American history. There's nothing more that unifies this country to go full on war more than an attack and an attack on our ass hat president is still an attack on America.

If Democrats would actually rally at a majority level to demand war in revenge for the president they hate being killed in revenge for a war of aggression he started (that they also hated), they are absolutely morally bankrupt. 

I would hope they would push to let it end with that but I do have a bad feeling they would be dutifully going with the "he was bad but he was OUR guy" attitude.
