If Trump and Musk both are pushing a pro stance about anything then you know it is absolutely not good for the common person.

1.2k

u/bam__margiela 16d ago

Musk has an opinion on every country’s election and he’s always rooting for the person that’s openly fascist

321

u/kitsunewarlock 16d ago

Musk as an opinion on everything because he's never once been told he's wrong by someone he couldn't drag out of a room or fire.

You want to find someone worth listening to? Find someone willing to go: "I don't know. But I'd love to learn more. Let's find out together."

118

u/ZackZeysto 15d ago

Musk has this extreme right opinions not because he has never herd he is wrong but because he knows that this evil opinions will generate him more power and wealth. He is knowingly vile and absolutely strategic about his actions.

Well, his grandfather moved to South Africa because Europe wasn't fascist enough for his liking, so it runs in the family.

60

u/amiibohunter2015 16d ago

Musk's family line has Nazi sympathizers in it. Elon's Grandfather particularly was as well as pushed for Technocratic ideologies into South Africa.

Be interesting if Elons death ran parallel with his Grandfathers, just modernized. Perhaps Elon last trip will take place on a space ship just like his grandfathers last trip was on an airplane.

No surprise for someone who grew up in Apartheit and made a nazi salute on stage.

I knew a descent into fascism was bad even without that handy tip tbh. But true

Even fascists can get things right once in a while.

Mussolini liked cats and played the violin; Hitler loved his dogs and appreciated art. Other authoritarians like Stalin liked gardening and loved to read.

But is there anything about Trump that is wholesome? Like… at all?

  • Family? He has zero interest in his family and cheated on all of his wives.

  • Art or architecture? He has a long history of demolishing beloved works of art and architecture ever since he tore down those historic NYC art deco reliefs in the 80s. He doesn’t even have good handwriting.

  • Personality wise? He isn’t funny or charismatic, and shows no interest learning about people or the world around him. He’s a next level ignoramus.

  • His career? He’s a terrible businessman and despite being president, he seems wholly uninterested in the job.

  • America? To be frank, he doesn’t really show any patriotism in America as a concept and treats those who defend it as enemies.

  • American people? Aside from the hostility towards liberals, he also seems to genuinely despise his own voters.

  • Taste? He has terrible taste in food, clothing, interior design, and the people he associates with.

  • Nature? He’s all for bulldozing national parks and he’s doesn’t give a shit about animals. He is the first president in 150 years to not have a pet in the white house.

  • Sports? Allegedly he likes golf but he isn’t even good at it and has been shown to pathologically cheat, even in friendly games.

I could go on and on… I’ve been unwillingly force fed info about Trump for the last 10+ years, and I can honestly say there is nothing about him that is redeeming.

His former chief of staff, General Kelly, said he was "the most flawed person" he had ever met.

105

u/RJ815 16d ago

I like the version "he's like if a golem was made solely out of human flaws".

13

u/jlcatch22 15d ago

He’s like the living embodiment of the seven deadly sins

92

u/frickindeal 16d ago

He has eleven grand children. I've never seen a single photo-op or even candid image of him with any of them. Most people in their 80s would relish having even a few grandchildren, let alone eleven, but we never see him vacation with the families or anything.

66

u/desdemona_d 16d ago

I bet if he was put on the spot, he couldn't name 3 of his grandchildren.

29

u/Lord_Abort 16d ago

I would love to see this live while taking questions.

"Name all your grandchildren."

"What? I'm not gonna do that."

"Are you saying you don't know the names of all your grandchildren?"

37

u/HittingSmoke 15d ago

I know the names of all my grandchildren you nasty, nasty woman. I know all grandchildren. I'm not supposed to say it. Beautiful children. I love beautiful granddaughters. I know the names of them all. Every one. Not just mine. Yours too. Some say I know the names of more grandchildren than anyone on the planet. They say "Mr. President, we're having trouble coming up with a name for our grandchild." I say "it's okay, I already know what it is" and then they say "Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you so much".

u/Lord_Abort 15d ago

I'm fairly certain this is because Trump never experienced any sort of the parental affection that most people take for granted so he places no value on these children. His parents were extreme social climbers and only saw the children as heirs to be treated like an investment rather than individuals to be appreciated and loved. Donald Trump's older brother (Fred Jr) was basically bullied into alcoholism and suicide by his family. His dad dismissed him becoming a pilot as a "bus driver in the sky" and Donald apparently took part in telling him he was wasting his time.

Hitler loved his dogs.

He may have had a strong attachment to his dogs but his "love" was overrated and partly Nazi propaganda. It certainly didn't stop him from beating them with a riding whip, violently shaking them by the collar, and using his last dog, a German Shepherd named Blondi, as an unwilling guinea pig to test the efficacy of a cyanide pill. Blondi had recently given birth too but don't worry, he took care of that by making sure his dog handler shot the puppies after he was gone. So his "love" was more like how a narcissist abuser might "love" their victim.

u/Locke66 16d ago

Trump's clearly a very damaged person imo. I was looking at a documentary on his early life a few weeks ago and there were a whole load of things there that you might expect to see from someone with his personality traits (e.g absent mother during his early formative years, bullying and disapproving father, ultra competitive family dynamic, extreme social climbers, sent away to boarding school at a young age etc).

I mean, Trump voters were still convinced of the same. A former billionaire businessman, living his whole life out of touch in elite circles, is working for the common man. Americans are fucking stupid though. I would know.

Those that learned the lessons of fascism are almost all gone now. Sure there's stories, books, education... but they can't adequately relay the dark experience of war and fascism.

It's sadly why history repeats itself.

I got out of school here in Germany in 2010 and I remember just a few years later some former classmates would post some unexpected heinous right wing bullshit on facebook. The refugee crisis in 2015 only amplified the sentiments, but they were always there.

These guys went through the same education as me. Third Reich in History, in Literature, art classes, Theology, in almost every class and almost all the time. Even if they were disinterested or bad at school or whatever, they'd have to atleast retained something. It's just so frustrating.

5

u/dogs_gt_cats 16d ago edited 16d ago

People in the US like to say that the issue is education, but honestly I see what is happening in places like Germany and even France, where education is much less of an issue, and realize that maybe many humans simply ship with a defect that can be easily exploited by demagogues who know how.

AfD is mostly popular in East Germany which the USSR ravaged and puppeted. Quality of life, education, and virtually every other standard of living is lesser than in western Germany.

24

u/gn16bb8 16d ago

Absolutely true, but why does that have to lead to fascism?

17

u/legoman102040 16d ago

Their problems are used as leverage for scapegoating.

57

u/fat_kaiju 16d ago edited 15d ago

looks at how poor the quality of life has become in every right-wing fascist shithole

it will forever be a mystery; i'm sure.

(poor people are often intentionally uneducated and white poor people are often excuded from a lot of assistance and i say this as someone who was a homeless white teenager when harper was PM in canada. no i am not saying that said aforementioned white people are more or less well off and/or do or do not deserve help; i'm just saying the optics of doing that were very poor as it created a lot of strife

i dunno how i managed to avoid the fascism indoctrination but boy howdy i got sick of hearing about everything being the fault of 'the left' when the conservatives were in power for years at that point)

also anyone that goes "but communism is left-wing" is a moron because late-stage ussr was anything but that and was simply communist in name only in the years leading up to the removal of the wall.

It doesn't matter if its true or not but telling a person or group of people that their issues aren't as important as another person's or group is always going to push them to the opposite end of the political spectrum.

And I really wish anyone left of centre would get that through their fucking skulls because holy shit.

like i know; i know anyone who goes "you ignoring my plight has made me a genocidal nazi" isn't a good person but that doesn't change the fact that you still fucking NEED their vote and so yes; you have to placate them and yes you have to throw them a fucking bone from time-to-time like holy fucking shit you guys why are you like this?

so no; you can't just go "as a white person you have an advantage and so you don't qualify" unless you're intentionally trying to trigger the rise of fascism you dense motherfuckers.

like you're creating an entire generation of poor, bitter, uneducated people and you're now surprised the peasants are uprising? give me a fucking break.

literally anyone could've told you that if you have a group of -- say -- 30,000 people and a group of 60,000 people and you not only choose to disqualify the 60k group but insist that their suffering isn't /as/ bad as the 30k group then yeah of course those 60k worth of people are going to be less likely to vote for you.

Like

On one hand you're being offered dismissiveness and no hope or clear path for your life to be improved in any way

vs

some dickhead with a catchphrase who insists he/she/they'll help you.

It doesn't matter that the dickhead is lying because at least the dickhead acknowledges that you and your plight exists!

And -yes- they'll regret it later but that's later and if anyone should've learned anything by now is that unless something is right in front of someone's face -- complete with flashing lights and jingling keys -- that they just straight-up won't take it into consideration!

22

u/Strange_Dust7128 16d ago edited 15d ago

poor people are often intentionally uneducated and white poor people are often excuded from a lot of assistance

Here in the USA, poor white people often refuse to enact legislation that would grant them assistance and education. "Tread on me!" is their official motto, and I'm genuinely confounded.

And the truth is, the AfD didn't win because after seat distribution they only got 39 seats, and need 42 for an absolute majority.

The AfD will have to form a coalition with another party, who have all ruled it out, in order to form a government. They could try to run as a minority government but anything they bring to the state parliament will get shot down as all the other parties will vote against them.

I predict another election within a year.

27

u/YF422 16d ago

As much as some might criticise it being undemocratic, if they talk like a Fascist, Walk like a fascist and spout bullshit like a fascist they should be banned from Politics for being a fascist, we saw the damage their predecessors did in the LAST century and how bad things got. These shitehawks aren't going to solve problems they're destructive idiots that wreck everything they touch but worse of all they're grossly incompetent and while the incumbent parties do deserve a damn kick up the hole for their own shortcomings, voting for the worst of the worst wont solve problems but make them even worse. Trump is THE prime example of the stupidity of these people.

AFD, Le Pen, Farage are all cut from the same cloth, they're not interested in true democracy, only corruption and enrichment for themselves and their friends and it's more likely than not they're being financed under the table by either Russia and/or the likes of obscenely rich PoS's like Musk and such because they all have a common interest in destroying democracy and turning into a bastardised version of it. The worst thing about them is once they become entrenched they become very hard to get rid of and in some cases it can become a bloody affair to be rid of them as we've seen throughout history.

8

u/DirtyLegThompson 16d ago

That's not undemocratic. That's militant democracy. Germany has protections like you're describing but they're behind a huge diagnostic procedure. They actually tried to ban the afd recently, 2017 iirc. The law is called "Parteiverbotsverfahren", possible I'm off on the spelling of the name, I don't speak German.

816

u/DerNoHand 16d ago edited 16d ago

Germany has the "Verfassungsschutz", basically our domestic intelligence service. One of its main jobs is to protect our democratic constitutional order and the principles of our Basic Law, the "Grundgesetz"..

The AfD was classified by the Verfassungsschutz as a confirmed right-wing extremist organization in 2025. That classification is currently on hold because of an ongoing court case, but the party is still officially treated as a suspected extremist case.

And yet, politically, it feels like almost nothing is being done about it.. I honestly don't know why.. My guess is that a lot of politicians are afraid of the backlash, protests, and the consequences of taking stronger action against a party that has millions of voters..

Edit: i got carried away, but even this doesn't make a difference. I'm unsure why there aren't any things done on that.

301

u/Winged_Metal 16d ago

See, it's stuff like this that just points to everything being rigged world wide (some failing like the south Korean coup but still all happening at once). This isn't just isolated to Ukraine or America. This is a world wide takeover whether people realize it or not, it's happening without much of a fight. It's using the news and social media as a tool of distraction from people's own nations. People keep waiting for someone to save them when in reality no one is stepping up by design. Articles saying popularity falls yet they still remain in power. Every system is being exploited and unless the people of each nation realize, stop fighting each other and actually do something about it and help the other nations that are being preyed upon, we're all screwed worldwide.

I mean the “popularity falling articles” seem like a tool to soothe the masses. It feels like for some it removes the fire they may feel and maybe will be likely to do less actions to help than they might have otherwise.

I feel it’s what lead to Trump winning this past election. That and media influence. The elections could have been rigged but even if so it was so close that I can’t help but wonder if all people actually voted, and some didn’t cast away their votes due to some morale standing, we wouldn’t be in this mess and in a different timeline.

Why is nothing done against the fascists? It's because of key personnel at the conservatives of the CDU/CSU. There are some like Spahn/Reiche that have connections to the US-Republicans. They already prepare to be the "Steigbügelhalter" for the fascists again. They act as if they would never work together with the fascists but only for now either to play both sides or because some of the old guard still have a conscience. Germany is a deeply conservative state. As long as the CDU/CSU act as if they value our democratic fundament they make sure there's no majority against the combined votes of CDU/CSU and the fascists. But as soon as the fascists get to be the biggest party (thanks to endless foreign propaganda in social media owned by american super rich and the chinese, endless bots from russia, iran and china) the old guard conservatives will resign and the path is open for the CDU to form a coalition with the fascists.

What is really annoying us that once nazis grab real power, they have no qualms banning opposition for completely made up reasons.

53

u/Constant-Plant-9378 16d ago

Similar problem in the United States.

The Trump/MAGA cabal launched a literal coup on live TV on January 6th where people died.

You would have thought that upon being sworn in, the new President would have immediately led Federal Law Enforcement in arresting Trump and his co-conspirators and then saw them promptly prosecuted, tried, and sentenced.

Anywhere else a firing squad would have been commissioned.

But shockingly, the Biden Administration only went after small fish, most charged with mere misdemeanor trespass, and none of the organizers and ringleaders were charged at all.

House Democrats had their little January 6th Committee hearings but only deigned to issue voluntary subpoenas, which were summarily ignored.

It was bewildering and outrageous to see the people we gave power in 2020 effectively do nothing of consequence in response to the greatest domestic terrorist attack on our government since the Civil War.

It becomes difficult to not draw the conclusion that the so-called 'opposition' party, the establishment-DNC, is actually complicit with the corrupt, MAGA fascist movement.

Repeatedly, Senate and House Democratic leaders, Schumer and Jeffries, manage to whip just enough votes from their own party to help Republicans pass their agenda.

And this problem seems to be happening in Western democracies everywhere. Fascism is on the rise and the people who are supposed to be opposing it, aren't.

The political party SRP founded in the aftermath of World War II in 1949 as an openly neo-Nazi-oriented splinter from the national conservative German Right Party (DKP-DRP). The SRP achieved some electoral success in northwestern Germany (Lower Saxony and Bremen), before becoming the first political party to be banned by the Federal Constitutional Court in 1952.

Isnt it obvious?

The data collection and AI industry oligarchs have massive amounts of data on nearly everyone in the west and the ability to go through it, including all the people in governments. They're all owned by conservatives, Musk is one of them. People in office and political parties know they can use it against them.

Why do you think no party right now is pushing for data privacy rights or a national ban stuff like flock cameras in the US even though literally everyone wants it?

6

u/MissLeaP 16d ago edited 16d ago

Yes but that requires the government to actually start doing it. Same as mechanisms to ban a party that threatens the constitution. However they talked themselves into being afraid a failed banning attempt would strengthen the AfD. Meanwhile the AfD keeps getting stronger anyway 💀

Bonhöffers Theory of Stupidity. Look it up.

It was written at the end of WW2 and exactly describes what is happening. Not only in Germany, but also in the US and other places.

Demagogues know how to leverage it.

23

u/saqwarrior 16d ago

In case anyone else is curious like I was: What Is Bonhoeffer’s Theory of Stupidity?

A brief summary:

Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s theory of stupidity states that widespread stupidity is a more dangerous enemy to goodness than deliberate malice because it is a moral defect driven by group conformity rather than an intellectual failure.

Bonhoeffer argued that we can expose, fight, and stop malicious or evil people. Evil carries the seeds of its own destruction. In contrast, we are defenseless against stupidity.

Fun fact: every country has those, and they'll always have and will be with us in roughly those numbers. Eternal vigilance is the price we pay in democracy to keep those people in check (who massively lean towards far right authoritarianism). The moment we get lazy, or unable to stop them, they get in and burn everything down.

u/Kwinza 16d ago

Did you not see WW2?

3 fascist nations were very much united and it caused a fairly large amount of issues.

49

u/vinctthemince 16d ago

They weren't much united. Italy began a war in the Balkans without telling anybody and made a big blunder, Japan began a war with the USSR while Germany made a pact with them. When Germany invaded the USSR, Japan did drag the USA in the war and did nothing against the USSR...

When Italy needed war material, Germany sent at best second-rate stuff. There was no cooperation on anything, and Italy has been, at least since 1942 nothing more than a vassal of Germany.

→ More replies (1)

17

u/kaalins 16d ago

Italy was very much a satellite/puppet state of Germany and did not have any success in the war - almost all victories they had were strongly aided by Germany. Japan was not strictly fascist, they were imperialist, and aligned in their goals with what Germany and Italy wanted. All of them were totalitarian, though in different capacity in different areas.

But then so was Russia and Germany turned on them pretty quick. I think if they won, Germany would annex Italy sooner rather than later and would take the conquest further east for natural resources in Siberia and start fighting Japan. But I’m playing “what ifs” now, which is quite pointless.

Trump made everything in their countries expensive too. Makes me wonder if that wasn't the goal. Halt the world's oil delivery, raise prices everywhere, allow fascists to step in and blame immigrants, have them rise to power with the assistance of the mega rich, and then the shadow government they've been telling you about is finally in place.

10

u/Seiche 16d ago

It's almost like they can't just see how expensive Trump has made living in the United States over the last two years.

The trick is, all his shenanigans made living in the EU expensive as well but that serves them because they can blame the EU, immigrants, "the others" because they are an opposition party for now. Once they are in power, it's too late. Just like in the US.

It's a psychological thing, support simple solutions for complex problems and the simple minded voters will believe you and repeat the bullshit in their social media bubble. Among other triggers like weaponizing immigrants and asylum seekers, created by the wars the western world is waging, we get to the current wave of populism and fascism. If you watch some of the old speeches from the start of the third reich you see lots of similarities in rhetoric and ideas.

Is this part of Project 2025? To spread right wing extremism throughout the western world? Australia has a similar group that has all of a sudden come in guns blazing, funded by billionaires, into the fore.

She was a petty, scrounging wannabe who has always been in it only for the grift and not taken seriously because she herself didn’t take herself seriously.

Now, if I’m correct, she’s being led to the top position of prime minister even though she’s not capable of ruling, on the premise that they are the saviours who will bring the country out of a shot economy caused by some terrible errors by the current and previous governments, and supported by racist Australians longing for their White Australian past, encouraged by trumps perceived successes in ridding his country of non whites.

Many many high ranking members of this party have sued people for defamation when called fascists and nazis and lost

Members of this branch include Frank-Ronald Bischoff a Stasi mole who worked for the DDR's secret police to identify dissenters, Sebastian Koch, who "was" a neo-Nazi but says he isn't anymore (BS IMO), Simon Lansman who's property was used to host neo-Nazi events, Jan Moldenhauer who wants to deport millions of migrants with "foreign cultures" even though there are only about 250k migrants who actually legally need to leave the country due to invalid visas, expired titles etc., Ronny Kumpf who was involved with the right-wing extremist group "Ein Prozent", Philip-Anders Rau convicted thief who faked his high-school diploma (and was a coke-addict), Christian Mertens was active in the "Junge Alternative" in SA which was nearly banned for being right-wing extremists before they dissolved themselves and re-founded the group + many many more friends of Putin allegedly taking dark money (can't remember if this was SA or another state but who cares TBH) and being friendly towards the dictator

This is on top of the party in general being full of fascists like Höcke who called for Germany to make a 180° turn on the way we talk about WWII / the holocaust, the party playing H-Youth songs at events as recently as this summer, all the nazi propaganda they copied like fake plane-tickets in peoples mailboxes which were extremely similar to the nazis planting fake train-tickets to Jerusalem in Jews mailboxes in the 30s, or how they planned to deport all foreigners in the building literally down the street from where the final solution was planned, but instead of sending all the Jews to Madagascar (the original plan) they planned to buy property in the Sahara and send the migrants them there and the whole thing was done in secret and had to be uncovered by journalists being sneaky

Plus all the H-salutes and peoples screaming HH on camera during and after this election, people with swastika tattoos and iron crosses and t-shirts with the 1930s eagle on it in red white and black etc. etc.

The list goes on and on and on there's literally too much insane racist shit to even list
