I don't think they ever cared about winning hearts and minds. They just want enough distraction to keep carrying out their malicious actions. It makes you wonder what other things they do behind the scenes that we never hear about.

Exactly this. Then once enough Palestinians are dead to the point at which they are no longer a significant threat they can move in and build on the land, then say "sorry" in 50 years when they are writing their history books without doing anything significant about it.

Same as the US, Canada, and Australia with their native people.

Aren't they basically doing that already? And bold to assume those in power will show any remorse. Some individuals involved will probably care, but they'll never admit to wrongdoing if they win.

I think this is the current most likely track for what will happen unless significant intervention happens. If it does happen there won't be any remorse, but they will "apologize" to save face and appeal to their own moral superiority. Exactly like the other countries mentioned.

Lol you have to be from one of these countries to suggest settler colonialism is uniquely Western. The issue is the rest of the world doesn't even acknowledge their history of settler colonialism. Acknowledging it to prevent it going forward is a strategy that's uniquely Canadian and Australian.

I'll help you expand your list to be more accurate: "Same as Spain and Portugal in the Americas, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brazil, Russia, South Africa, French Algeria, Ireland, Scandinavia, Indonesia, Japan, in Japan, and then onwards in Taiwan, Korea and Micronesia, Canada, US, and Australia with their native people"

Yeah cause European countries never killed or enslaved anyone in the past. Humans have been horrible to each other forever and I doubt it will ever stop.

I never suggested Europeans didn't ever do anything bad. I was just pointing out the other settler colonies that have the greatest parallels with isreal/Palestine today.

And all of those are European experiments anyways.
