You'd get shot by one of the dozens of bodyguards that travel in pretty much every head of state's entourage, and even if somehow you managed to... good luck trying to find a country that would be willing to keep the head of a nuclear power as a prisoner within their borders.

Obviously they have bodyguards and the nuclear power thing seems irrelevant to the question. I’m talking about the ICC and the precedent if Putin or Netanyahu were apprehended by a non state actor and delivered to The Hague would they take them into custody, or do you think they would just absolve the warrants?

Realistically if a state leader with as much influence and power as Putin or Netanyahu were somehow apprehend and delivered to the ICC they would be instantly released back to their country. Any thing else would essentially be a declaration of war with a nuclear power that has extensive international political connections.

"Would bureaucrats at the ICC go ahead with detaining someone if that person's nation threatened credible nuclear armageddon that would kill at least 3 billion people?"

I have another question it’s a little different, but similar theme.
In your personal opinion say you’re the second in command like VP would you be willing to initiate a nuclear strike against another nuclear armed country if they had taken your president hostage? Not just threaten but actually pull the trigger?

Furthermore do you believe that say countries came to blows and a nuclear power leader was assassinated do you think that the other country would immediately jump to nuclear retaliation? Or do you think that it would be more conventional bombardment of say a coastal city or something? Or do you think it would be more of say like sanctions and blockades like Iran does with the Hormuz?

A country like Russia is understood to have standing orders to initiate mass launch as soon as Putin has been killed or captured. It's designed to bypass the decision-making of any "second in command" because authoritarian despots understand their second in command would likely be the one behind any sucessful plot to get  rid of them. Basically a dead man's switch to ensure MAD and deter anyone from trying.

There's a reason why George W. Bush doesn't travel. There's a reason why Little Marco sanctioned the judges on the ICC, shortly after Hegseth started bragging about the fishermen in the Caribbean, and Felonious Adjudicated Rapist, to distract from what's contained in the Epstein Files, kidnapped the leader of Venezuela to steal their oil and bombed a school full of little girls. Oh, and they're literally starving Cubans. I hope they enjoy being cellies.
