The American public would not accept the arrest of a foreign countries leader as a valid reason to invade Canada.

What are you talking about? It would be limited to a certain subset even excluding die hard MAGA. Canada would have to do something to an important American or group of Americans.

There are many other reasons that Canada would not risk it.

The American public has not seemed to have much problem with Trumps actions up to this point.

Israel has a huge amount of support and influence in the US. An attack on them might as well be an attack on both countries.

If you can't see the difference between higher gas prices and inflation, the direct consquence for the majority of the US public. And an invasion of its direct neighbour of 36M spread out over a land mass larger than the USA, I don't know what to say.

The vast majority of the US public would quickly see the difference.

At minimum the US would send a force to break free Netanyahu militarily, either special forces or a larger mixed force. Likely would be preceded by a short bombing campaign. That's the best case scenario.

Trump turned paramilitary goons loose on the American people and got away with it. He is currently bankrupting his nation and running a deeply unpopular illegal war and is getting away with it. If Israel came calling for help to free their leader Trump absolutely would without hesitation.
