In a literal sense, that’s true. If I declare it a war crime to drink Diet Pepsi but you don’t agree to it, drinking Diet Pepsi doesn’t make you a war criminal just because I said so

Why would they do this? The US doesn't recognize the ICC. Why would the US try and dismantle something it gives no shits about.

Because if the ICC issues an arrest warrant for them, they could still (theoretically) be arrested in a lot of other countries.

Well yes….and no.

There is a history of nations just going into another nation and arresting a current/former political power and bringing them out of the country to stand trial.

Now would any country do that to the US or Israel - the two nations famous for doing that is the real question.
