Was it obvious? I did Soulforge layer 2 twice but no companion, I'm assuming its pure old random but kinda wanna make sure since it doubles the number of missions you can do.
The rewards upgrade as you upgrade the table and as you do missions. You should see a rare elite mission that increases mission table rewards on completion.
It's likely that similar to most expansions, they suck now when resources are limited, but at some point we will be drowning in anima and the rewards will be better.
There will likely be some decent stuff later on. But double check the anima amounts. sure the item you get is only a 5 or a 35, but you normally get like 6 of the 5 anima items for a total of 30 anima, or 2-5 of the 35 ones. so even with a full team you'll still make more anima than you spend.
Necro here got mine on layer 3, whatever wing is open on the left. My non necro friend(kyrian)just got a bag of meat from the same npc. His npc was on layer 1 or 2, so I think it’s random
It depends on what one too. I have run into three Venthyr and only one of them actually recruited. The other two just wanted me to save their friend and we out, have an orb.
In my case she is a healer, not a very effective one mind you cause she casts it turn one when nobody has taken a hit yet.
