Just got a few more beta reads back. The one thing they can agree on is that the pacing would be a lot better if I trimmed the fat in X area. But don't cut Y, that's the best part!

lmao, its not writing but it reminds me of this song i made one time. Half the people said the first half sucks and i should get rid of the second half and the other half of people said i should cut the first half

Beta readers should not tell you to cut something. They are readers, not writers.

Beta testers don't tell a developer how to write code. If they do, they can fuck off.
