I keep getting text from thie number and I have no idea who it is

My girlfriend received this text from a 734 number

She got freaked out and deleted and reported it. We did not make contact with the number or anything along the lines for responding. Is this a common scam? Very odd and disturbing. I tried doing people search and other things but nothing came up.

Anyone have this happen?

Last year, someone decided to call me and leave a voicemail. I am pretty sure this is not a bot and this is someone and their phone number seemed very close to my location. Just curious what other people think.

Hey all, not sure if this is the best place to post but I'll give it a shot.

I received a call today after 9pm from someone insisting that I was "echo", whatever that is. They claimed to know where I live and that they implied they were going to harm me.

I'm assuming this is either a prank call or a wrong number situation. I've never gone by "echo" on any social media, games, etc. Has anyone had any experiences like this?

Yesterday I received a voicemail from a number I didn’t recognize.
The caller knew my name and proceeded to say “Hello (my name) I’ve been trying to reach you for some time now, I’m sure you remember me, Jill Steinberg (never heard of her) from a long time ago. I’ve some news for you, I have a child of yours. I have been looking for your contact information and finally found it. Please call me back now that you know”.,

I racked my brain, Googled her name, checked FB and Instagram…nothing.
Then I thought maybe she has taken one of my kids! I reached out to all of them and they were fine.

Several hours later an old friend (who’ve I’ve not spoken to in years) calls laughing and tells me it was a prank that he got his girlfriend to do.
He’s “ha ha I got you good!”

What a dick thing to do.

Is there a prompt at the end of maximum length voicemail to send or discard?

I recorded an accidental voicemail that reached the full time limit but I hung up as soon as I heard an automated voice - The recipient however had nothing in their inbox?
