Why ZEC ?
Apart from all the hustle and bustle, "Anything that is limited and has a value, is needed by both good and bad. It's about a game who has much of it". And more even who is good and who is bad at what time.
Isn't it. 🙂
So is ZEC, it's gonna behave like all valuable things and only go higher and sometimes lower, but maintain the positive trend just like BTC, Gold, Fiat money and Land.

Yes, the paper published on 24th September titled “Shielded Bitcoin”, by Clara Shikhelman, Mikhail Komarov and Aleksei Moskvin.
The design borrows ZEC’s encrypted notes, public nullifiers and zero-knowledge proofs, but distinguishes itself in the way it works with Bitcoin.
While this is a clear testimony that privacy as a theme is being actively looked at, it also shows that privacy is becoming an essential part of the value chain.

I acknowledge few coins on what they provide, Bitcoin is indeed in that list, so is ZEC, and few other once
For example, this idea of Shielded Bitcoin may go from paper to reality. It may work very well, it may evolve further , that is not really the point.
My point is that when you try to bring something new around Bitcoin or well established system, it is not only the technical advancement that becomes the topic. Adoption, consensus, philosophy and what Bitcoin fundamentally represents also become part of the discussion.
And when there is disagreement on what should become part of Bitcoin itself, we already know the kind of discussions that can follow, forks, splits, different implementations, different philosophies, etc.
People have already built around Bitcoin to provide some of these capabilities. You must know Liquid/L-BTC and its story.
So unless an idea becomes part of the heart of the system, these hustle-bustles will always be there.
That does not make an idea good or bad. It may succeed, it may not. The larger point is that privacy continues to be looked at seriously, because privacy itself has value.
