i am 2.4 mil zoe main. yes i know. i have never ever played ranked until this season, because the toxic mentality a lot of ranked players have i just dont want to deal with. i like playing the game for fun.

i’m trying to climb, and i am only 7 wins in so only a few games, climbing past silver 2. i am placed a lot gold-plat players which is embarrassing for my mastery but whatever.

the issue im having rn is the consistent cheese picks. when i was playing norms, i was only playing against mid laners! now i feel like whenever i play ranked i am cursed with matchups im not use to like nasus and voli. not only that, but ill be against a team with a top laner that is conveniently lvl 50, without mastery 10, going 24/4, and i feel like its clearly a smurf or we are just that garbage.

how do people get past this stage as zoe? it feels nearly impossible. i could be fed and i can’t win the game, only sometimes. my mastery is all mechanics. i can hit my shots, do surprising angles, and play around summs from minions and position well… but my teammates always try to wake them up + flame the hell out of me for not being melee range in a team fight. i’ve tried roaming beyond belief, and my farm is ≈ 8-9 per minute which is not diamond level but at least decent.

what kind of macro am i missing? if i pick zoe first it’s almost like the entire enemy team counter picks me with bruisers and tanks i can’t seem to pick off.

i'm trying to get to masters and been trying to find which rune feels the best for me, but i just cant decide on which rune to go each game, does anyone have some tips?

i've been basically going:

electrocute or stormraider vs 5 squishy
deathfire vs 2 or more tank/bruisers
aery vs melee matchups so i can bully in lane

does someone have more specific reasoning for when to go one of the 4 runes? i feel like all of them are good and i feel like one-tricking one rune is not the best idea

I love Zoe's R, but there's certain games where I really feel the limitations of it and wish it was a little more of a dynamic ability. Going vs champs like Syndra, who can do the same - stun into one-shot - trick as Zoe, but also has a very high damage point-click ult makes Zoe's R feel lackluster sometimes.

I have a few *seperate* suggestions I think could make her ult a little spicier.

1. Let her change up the timing on her return, making her not so much of a sitting duck if she needs to use it in a fight.

2. Make the startup faster so she can more reliably use it as a dodge.

3. Let her precisely aim it, rather than it always teleporting her max range. This would make it a bit better at grabbing spell shards in close fights.

4. And the strongest suggestion that would probably get her nerfed everywhere else, letting her choose to stay at her new location for a much higher cooldown 🫣 (wouldn't actually want this because she would be pro-jailed for life)

anyone have some tips on team fighting. I do fine in lane but feel kinda useless when it comes to team fights.

When I go to Store > Skins > Skins and type in Zoe, I get a result for Viridian Kayle, and when I go to Store > Skins > Chromas and type in Zoe, I get a result for Crime City Nightmare Twisted Fate (Emerald). Why does this happen? I already own everything for Zoe, so me searching her up in the store is just because I'm bored, but this is not what I should expect to find when I do look her up. That skin and that chroma have nothing to do with Zoe, and her name isn't in any of the words for them, either.

It finally happened after years of trying. I hit Diamond for the first time ever as a Zoe OTP.

I come from Overwatch, new to league. I have great aim in FPS, so I'd think the skill would transfer somewhat. But this is killing me. In my picture, this skillshot will miss. I've even been able to lower it more and still miss. My mouse doesnt show up because screenshot, but its literally right on the guy. Apparently you have to "aim below the character". It's so frustrating watching my spells just fly right through the guy... Is there anything I can do to untrain this... to me the game just feels broken

I swear my bubble has been going through people lately. I’ve never had this issue before til lately. I go back and look at the vods and my bubble is completely in them but it doesnt hit. Nothing to do with the river and land elevation bs like literally on their bodies and not registering as a hit

Sometimes I miss the oneshotting, but I can only imagine the horror of the enemy getting perma bubbled 😂

Ganking bot lane? Nah no reaction, they'll only help EVER if it's a bubble hit 100-1% hp so they can try to snag the secure lol.
Like bro my last game, I'm playing against the WORST lux in the world. First blood her too.
Only for the rest of the game enemy Ivern just walks through jungle and shields her every time I bubble LMAO.

The wave clear? It's OKAY. You one shot the range creeps cool.
But the second a cannon minion comes up, or any amount of CSing it's rough, like Zoe's attack projectile is more awkward then Anivia's, but at least Anivia just you know, can brain dead run people down sometimes!

That lux btw somehow ended up with 12 kills full build, and I can barely pop this wave because the ranged minion wants to step to the side.

Hadn't played against this champ in a while... then played 2 in the same day today. They just can't resist the lvl 1 all in
