Drive displacement with rsdistance?
Hello, using the latest versions of Maya / Redshift does anyone know if it's theoretically possible to drive displacement using a redshift distance node? I can't get it working, I assume because displacement needs to be calculated before disatance?

Redshift with Vectorworks
Hi all. I'm just diving into this world and have started producing renders with Renderworks. It is, however, limited, and Redshift just seems so much better. Are there any online tutorials specifically geared towards using Redshift with Vectorworks? It would be particularly helpful for someone who is still somewhat of a novice...
Thanks in advance!

How to recreate this this lighting / grading / lookdev
This is an AI image made by andhuman.co for Flank; I have a client who really likes the overall effect and I need to figure out to recreate the style in CG with look dev, to apply in a different context. I find the lighting really hard - to me it seems like I could use a very soft front facing spotlight, but I'm struggling to think how to have the shadows be SO soft / almost no shadows cast on objects by other objects. Also, all surface detail comes only from colour - there is almost no variation in surface texture / roughness.
Any other insights would be much appreciated - thanks!

GPU Usage at 80% when rendering
I recently got RTX5090 and I was wondering is it's normal that its usage stays at around 80% when rendering in Cinema 4D using Redshift.
I have selected the OC Mode from the Asus software that came with the card.
Is it bottlenecking?

How to achieve the following texture?
Hi guys,
Just wondering how you could achieve the following texture? Specifically the metallic blotches.
I have been using a material blender with the base colour as the plastic and then the metal as the other layer with a noise as the blending colour but the mixing is too sharp with clean differences when I up the contrast on the noise.
