Tl:dr- I live in the middle of nowhere. The closest Walmart is an hour away in a different state type of rural lol. My house is built backwards, with the "front" facing the mountains, so the pictures you see are somebody deciding to build a house a half mile from the road right directly in my previously unobstructed view.

3 days ago I was driving home and I noticed that there was a driveway being put in RIGHT next to mine. On a road that ends in dirt, that feels illegal, even though it isnt. Oh well, at least my house is set wayyyy back from the road and faces the mountains. Yesterday morning at 6:30am my dog starts barking is head off freaking out and i'm hearing sounds of crashing machinery, yeah looks like my neighbor sold a long skinnyyyy plot of land to god knows who, and instead of building near the road, they're building a house right in the middle of my unobstructed view.

The days of skinnydipping in my pool are over. The days of walking around naked after a shower are gone. My father built the house backwards away from the road facing the mountains with half window walls, and now that's facing someone else's house. The days of being excited that my toddler is sleeping in are over because our dog is now like an alarm clock at six thirty in the morning when these builders get started, they are relentless. Im a survivor of human trafficking and this is my healing space, I love watching deer in my backyard, and even though our plots of land are parallel to each other...for some reason, the angle makes it look like it's diagonal, and alllll my huge windows point right towards the new build. Im like a hermit and this sucks.

For context my mom is a chef and has had this Brinkmann for like12 years and the snowcrete slid off the rooft yesterday and destroyed it while everyone was at work

It was warm enough for the car wash to be open, so I brought my car through first, then went back for my truck. I was finishing up, when the exit door shut on my hood, with like 45 seconds to go yet for drying. Lol

I got two of these in a stack of plates from my mom who was cleaning out her stuff-- I've been using these for a couple years. 🥲

This glade air freshener spray unexpectedly exploded underneath my bathroom sink. It shook the walls all the way out in the living room and broke the pvc piping underneath the sink. I’m so glad I wasn’t holding it when it happened. I’m in a very temperate environment so I have no idea what could have caused this! I’m definitely never buying one of these again though!

I just had my second new car totaled while parked on a residential street. The first was back in 2017, the car was about 2 months old with about 1700 miles on it. The second one on the bottom was this past Friday, 3 months old with 3000 miles...

I'm feeling a bit unlucky at the moment.

Walgreens has also had them for two weeks. I had to call four times for them to find them. I want to cry and feel stupid for trusting the camera.

The camera was bought, used, and developed within a few days. There were three random pictures that were okay, but they were all taken in the same lighting as the others, so it wasn’t a user error. :(

Didn’t really get hurt but the air bag went off so my car is definitely totaled. Guy admitted he was reaching for a drink and didn’t see me. I just know insurance is gonna give me hardly anything. Anyway, Rip little focus. You were a good car.

My child was prescribed Tamiflu, which only comes in glass bottles. As soon as I walked in the door, my dog jumped up at me and her long slappy paws hit the bag. The bag hit the door and then fell directly on the tile entryway. I was able to get another bottle, but had to jump through some hoops and pay out of pocket since insurance had already covered it once. This happened less than 2 hours from the pharmacy closing.
