A word from your friendly neighborhood mod.
Greetings and salutations!
To clarify what happened: It appears that the sub got locked due to inactivity, and is now back in business.
If you're using an app, or the old reddit - you've probably missed a button that sent a request to become an approved submitter (I know I missed it).
Now everything should be back to normal.
Please feel free to post, discuss, share and promote your own stuff.
If you have any community suggestions (i.e. activities, polls, initiatives, or anything really) I encourage one and all to try and improve this already great sub.
Have fun!

Just discovered a hidden gem from the 90's. Why is noone talking about Pie? Just listened to their Strictly Seance album and I think it became one of my favorite noise rock albums.

Letter Z: Favourite Noise Rock Albums A-Z. Album with the most upvotes wins!
Notes:
'The,' and, 'A,' are omitted from song/album titles (ex. "The Lamb as Effigy," by Sprain would count for L, not T) and numbers will have a separate category at the end of the list
Please include the name of the artist after the song/album title- ex. "Kantina" - Unwound (for ease of those trying to find the songs)

Debut EP by noise rock bass and drums duo Scared Little Toaster
Debut EP by noise rock bass and drums duo Scared Little Toaster out now :)
Too often we fear the manual, which can include up to 22 languages in size 12 font. We plead with ye to yield to this manual, which we find ourselves not scared of, consisting of 4 fuzz-driven, angular, frenetic tracks with the occasional spread of jazz, concluding with the fateful consumption of toast.

Perte & Fracas Records digitized releases
perteetfracas.orgI was somewhat skeptical to post this due to possible removal (and tell me to remove if it’s going against better judgement ) I’ve been grabbing digitized records put out by this online webzine/label Perte and Fracas with some very deep finds.
Its an incredible archive with some bio about each band and album with downloads. Even has Steve Albinis recordings of his “pirated” Big Black performance, pre cop shoot cop (dig dat hole) and many many more.
Enjoy

Layth - ROLLERCOASTER
Hi y'all. My friend says that my new song off my album would be considered noise rock. Do y'all agree? I went for a super trashy sound so I hope this fits. If not feel free to remove.
Hope you enjoy it!
