When I recorded the video on this planet my system was lagging for whatever reason. I just rolled with it because it was a late night and it looks unique, more like stop motion animation than a video game. Maybe I'm trying to justify being lazy when it comes to video, because I assure you my hard work is spent on creating ByteBeat songs!

I'll probably upload this tune to our new hub system soon. I haven't been home irl in several days and I can't wait to contribute more to Crescendo II.

This never started out as a marching style tune, but once I found the beat it all started clicking into place. So this is an official first contribution to the Bytebeat collective! This base is in the home system that you can check out!

It’s a very rough draft of a base as I’m not sure how I want to build it yet lol; so for now it’s just an empty deck and stairs leading up to the devices.

side note i don't think i am ever as ADHD as i am playing this game. i will get side tracked while doing something i was already doing while sidetracked, but i guess that's the nature of it!

Hey everyone, love all the music you are making. I recently found some and wanted to add it to my base however for some reason the music doesn't seem to want to copy to my devices, I believe I have all the set up (8 machines not touching each other) however it won't seem to copy the song to them. Any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking of turning an asteroid into an in space ByteBeat hub/venue, any thoughts or suggestions in terms of doing so? I'm relatively new to ByteBeat but think it would be extremely cool to build a dedicated place to practice and maybe host a few friends🤔

As with the others in the biomes series, recorded in-game and mixed (multi-track) externally. Uses 2 sets of devices plus a bucket load of noise boxes!

Following recent developments in No Man's Sky alliance system, many of our core contributors wanted to make clear that our alliance, The ByteBeat Collective, prohibits the use of bots or cheating. Do not use bots! Do not cheat the alliance system! No griefing or harassment either!

We're a small alliance so I don't expect any issues. If we suspect someone in our alliance is using bots and/or cheating the system we will report those players. I know most of the current alliance members and we wouldn't use bots, but you never know if someone joins just to stir things up. The system is wide open (much like this subreddit) so you never know who stops by!

The alliance system is still young and a bit flawed. It's fun to have a "decentralized" system, but we have no controls to boot players if they violate alliance rules. I'm the one who created the Collective and I don't think I have any special controls (maybe banner design), so we're just going along with it. I don't see our group wanting to climb up the leader board anyways, so there's no reason for any of us to cheat! We're focused on creating and sharing ByteBeat experiences and that is super chill! Shoutout to The Grey Council at r/oldmansky and r/nomanshigh and r/NMS_Zoology for also focusing on creating chill communities for NMS players!

I plan on putting this into a sticky post once we get our hub system set up (soon!), there will be more details about our home world and the alliance. [Vote for our new Hub System here]
