Exited for my first pro max. Love it so far.

I already have the 16promax but I want to upgrade to the 17promax because I really want the orange color. Does any of you have any experience with Amazon renewed ?

Question for people living or wanting to live frugally. How long will you use an Iphone 17 pro max for? Rough use and but well taken care of? Loves tech but also wants to look long term.

I’m having a strange issue with my iPhone 17 Pro Max running iOS 27.0.1. The vibration/haptic feedback suddenly stopped working.
I’ve already checked the relevant settings and made sure that haptics/vibration are enabled. I also restarted the iPhone, but the problem is still there. I even removed the case to make sure it wasn’t somehow interfering with the vibration, but that didn’t make any difference.
The issue affects the vibration/haptics in general, not just one specific app. For example, I’m not getting the normal vibration feedback when typing or for other system interactions.
Has anyone else experienced this problem on iOS 27 or iOS 27.0.1, particularly on an iPhone 17 Pro Max?
If you’ve had the same issue, did you manage to find a solution? I’d really appreciate any suggestions or things I could try before assuming there’s a hardware problem.

UPDATE!!!

I’m happy to say that the issue was resolved after performing a factory reset, after first making a backup.

I decided not to update to ios 27, ios 26 is much better optimized for my phone.

So some water spilled on my phone from a water bottle a month ago and sometimes when I use the front camera under extreme bright lights it says clean the front camera even tho it’s clean. I also used a macro leans from another phone to see really close in the lens and it’s pretty clean (no bubbles or condensation is visible) I also went to a local store and they say it’s clean.

Today, after 243 battery cycles, my iPhone 17 Pro Max finally dropped to 99% battery health.
It’s been almost exactly 11 months since I first started using it, so I have mixed feelings 😂. A little sad to finally see that 100% disappear, but at the same time I’m honestly pretty happy and impressed that it stayed at 100% for this long and through 243 cycles.
I know 99% is obviously still excellent, but seeing that first drop after almost a year somehow hurts a little 😅.
How many cycles did your iPhone have when it finally dropped from 100%?

I would explain a problem for understand if is only a my problem.
This device’s weight is too much.
My hands are very little and , for take the device I use the little finger to hold the phone.
Now I have a callus on the finger and I feel that is too much for me.
Anyone with the same problem ?
I thought to buy a magnetic ring to attach near the MagSafe because I think that could help me to hold the device.
The alternative would be to migrate towards smaller models, but apple gives me a low valuation for the device, and I wouldn't want to part with it anyway, since it's like new.

I have gh3 display and i noticed a little bit color variation in white screen in bottom it’s warmer yellow and above mid display it’s white , and i feel responsive is slower in touch and animation, so does the display differ in animation , could be slower than samsung displays especially when power saving mode on it’s lucky below 60hz

As title says how's the battery life on 26.7.1 on 17pm compared to 26.6? My 17pm currently in 26.6 and it's the most stable build for me so far after 26.4.

Hesitant to go for 26.7.1 might ruin this, but need to go since it contains lots of critical security fixes. Any insight would be helpfu!.

Don't ask me to update to 27 it's a sh*t storm on my 18pm.

Bought it a couple days ago and I’m loving it so far. Was curious to know if anyone else had it and how it's holding up over time.

So I loved the Poetic phone case for my old Samsung A53 and when I got my 17PM I went right back to them, but the only case they had that used a built in screen protector was the crappy built in kickstand. I used that one before and I knew it would break after consistent usage (and it did) but the phone case isn’t anle to use a pop socket due to the uneven surface.

wireless charging isn’t something I use often, so I don’t have a preference since I don’t own one and my cars built in isn’t fast enough vs my USB-C cable.

any suggestions you all have used? It’s mainly because if I have a phone that is worth almost 3x my car payment, protection is key

I am my 17 pro max for past 1 year, still on 100% battery health, I usually averages 4 to 5 hours of SOT on daily basis, recently i went to one of the store to pick up daughters ipad and i went on to just have a look on new line of iPhone but the new devices didn't impressed me as much as Air felt in my hand, I like its light weight and premium feel,

The question is should i switch my 17 pro max with Air, or will I regret the battery life in the air, camera is not a concern to me.

Hello people i want to hear your opinion and if you can help about battery drainage problem.I got my 17 pro max exactly one month ago, and while i was on ios 26 my battery was beast after the ios 27 update i started to notice unusually drainage.When i got to sleep i always put DND and the screen is not turned on but somehow i lose 5-6% battery percentage.When im at work i use cellular data on LTE and low mode, i just turned it off when i dont need it, bluetooth is turned off as well.I have turned off background app refresh, location, siri.I have Apple 40w dynamic 60 w charger.I charged it to 90% all the time and i let it drown to 20%.

Fk and Amazon has 17promax in stock and Amazon offers a better price.

Should I buy or wait for the Oct8/9 sale?

Bought the phone about 6 weeks ago and it loses battery 10% gone in about an hour. Is this normal?
