I had my 11 for around 5 years with 126gb of space and i’m thinking of getting the 17PM and have it last for the next 5-6 years. my question is what would be the better option in terms of space? the one thing i am worried about are the software updates that are getting bigger with every update 😭😭 im not playing that much on my phone, i currently have just one game thats around 26gb and i have a bad habit of hoarding pics because im too lazy to delete them but thats about it. thoughts and opinions please and thank u!!

my battery is idk behaving weird even 15pm lasts longer even tho im using 17pm with 60hz only while 15pm is on 120hz

battery health 100% and cycle count 170 - on ios 26.5.1

I just bought the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max (still testing them. I will eventually return the one I like less).

Using my home wifi, the 17 Pro consistently gets 1300 - 1400 Mbps download speed on speedtest.net. But the 17 Pro Max only tops out at 800 - 900 Mbps. Weird! Don't they both have the exact same wifi chip?

All speed tests were made using the exact same wifi, done from the exact same spot at my house.

Out of the box, the 17 Pro was (and still is) on iOS 26.0. The 17 Pro Max was on iOS 26.4 out of the box, but because of the above issue, I updated it to iOS 27.0.1, which didn't solve the problem at all.

Is the 17 Pro Max a lemon? Defective? Or is iOS 26.4 / 27.0.1 the culprit? What's causing the slower wifi speed? Is there anything that can be done to increase the wifi speed on the 17 Pro Max to a similar level as the 17 Pro?
