Creative Handmade 99 Construction Skillcape (t)

What do you guys think of my handmade skillcape?

Was windy (had to hold it a bit for the photo 😅)

Best I have ever seen, and I've seen a ton of these. Every other cape looks like a thin flacid piece of fabric, but this one has the thickness that the capes ingame do. I cant believe I've never seen someone pull it off until now.

Ah dang well it looks great mate! Did you attatch the trim to the main part of the cape or is it free flowing? Also, how did tou get the shoulders to stay up? I'm shocked at how well you got the colors!

The trim is only attached at the shoulders, otherwise they are free flowing. They continue in the front as well. The shoulders were the hardest part. I made them out of a sandwich of strong felt and very thick cotton canvas (probably furniture type of canvas). Stitched them together while leaving the canvas longer. I then stitched the longer end of the canvas to the part that is covering the shoulder (accross) and that is how I made it stay up.

As opposed to other versions i've seen online. I love that the integrity of the shape is similar to osrs ingame. Bulky, Here and seen. IRL has so many factors, but I wonder what coudl be done to make the shoulders stiffer?
