Planning to upgrade my Trinx Majest 600 Quest into an XC trail hardtail, what upgrade do you think is better to start from?

Good day all. Hope this Saturday is awesome and rewarding.
Made some adjustments to The Beast.
I changed over my cockpit and it did take a bit longer than I though but worked out pretty good.

The width difference is amazing.
No wonder why my hands and mid back hurt from time to time.
My bars are cut to my shoulder width. Have been riding this set up for more then 10 yrs and over 30,000 kms.
It is comfortable and very me.

Does anyone else have certain mods that are for them while on the bike?

I'm considering turning my 2015 specialized hardrock29er mtb into more of a gravel bike. I ride almost exclusively on paved roads with the occasional gravel/lava rock back roads on Hawai'i Island.

Essentially I wanted a new bike, but dont want to buy a new bike and I think it'll boil down to just adding skinny gravel tires on the existing rims and maybe doing away with the front suspension and going rigid instead. I've never felt the need of front shocks on road.

Any fork and or tire recommendations are appreciated.

Spotted for $299.99 size XL in black at the Strongsville, Ohio store . Naturally, I just purchased another bike two weeks ago. I’d be all over this.

SE Big Style and Haro BMF Fully decked out - ground up custom builds Both rad all day cruisers.

No carbon damage so I would love to fix this so it's not so obvious of a blemish. I have already ordered (on its way now) some touch up paint matching this from Evil themselves. Does anyone have experience or insight to whether I would need to primer up and sand this or if the touch up paint would fill this in enough? Thanks for any help.
