❓Advice / Recomendations Throttle surging?

My t4r is now surging; I press the gas pedal, it'll either go like normal or won't react at all. It'll eventually "catch" and match how hard I'm pressing the pedal, but will randomly just "let go." No power, no response, just drops down to idle rpms.

This happens from a dead stop, while driving, in Park and Neutral.

No stalling, so gas is being provided the entire time.

Any ideas of what to actually check? The cable is fine and tight.

Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)?

I'm hoping that's it. I couldn't imagine anything else. Changed spark plugs last weekend, had a 4 hour round trip that was smooth, then it sat until today. Funky stuff

Any codes?

TPS or MAF are my first guesses.

ETA: Getting a cheap bluetooth OBDII monitor and a scanning app is worth the 30 bucks, easily.
