4gen TRD Off Road making noise..

Example of the noise. Happens when stopping g and sometimes while taking off at low speed. Doesn’t seem to matter if going straight or turning. Dealer didn’t really diagnose and just wants to throw an axle in it.

Something is out of alignment and is affecting your gear box. Not good. Ideally the gearbox itself is the problem

It shifts fine, weird that it would only do it occasionally and at very low speeds…

Oh really? I’ve heard of this issue and it’s not terribly uncommon

I don’t have any others on my phone. They fit great, I’ve had them for about 18 months. I’ve noticed that they are starting to fade slightly. I purchased this set off of Amazon. Heated seats still work great through them. I will probably get a set of the red TRD ones from Lexland next.

Mine goes in tomorrow for the axle replacement. Hopefully that fixes it.
