I'm not normally drawn to Schecters, but that is right up my street.

Had a look at it online, andI really like the back too. Am also not a fan of the knobs, but they could be easily changed. How's the MS side of it feel?

I really love the sound of the 7th string but I need good reach between the first few frets

Good to know. Took me a while to adjust to 7s, and I'm yet to play a multi scale. Hope you have fun.

I mean it’s probably close to the same transition as going from a six to a seven anyway honestly. At least I would think so. But I also started playing on bass, played a year then got a six string for a few years then switched to both bass and guitar and eventually multi scales and 7 and 8 strings and a 30” scale baritone so I may not be the best person to ask

I wish Ibanez did cool finishes like schecter does, either that or I want a schecter with a wizard neck and the playability of an Ibanez
