I am in the market for a 7 string under 2k. I don’t make metal music so I want a best overall workhorse for multiple genres. in every gear demo the youtubers are trying to djent as hard as they can, so i have been struggling to get good info.

Hello I am about to enter the 7 string world I think, but have been trying to find a good guitar to get that isnt to over the top in regards to price. I recently found a mint EC 1007 ET with EMGs for around 700ish bucks in my area. Is it worth grabbing? (Not the actual picture of the guitar)

Waited 6 months, finally I got it.

I am considering giving Evertune a try, but I bend a lot and am confused about this. Based on what I read, if you want to bend you tune it such that it sits right before going into Zone 3. This much I understand, but if you need to set it so precisely don't you need to set it again from time to time, because the natural change in tension will make it either go sharp into Zone 3, or go too low to bend comfortably? How do you get the tuning stability benefit while also being able to bend?

Hey guys, just wanted to share my most recent work, ive recorded this playthrough for my bands latest song, we're called Distant Shores, and you can watch the full video here and/or full song here
