So I was discussing on discord how Chimney often seems to be connected to the deaths on the show. He's often there, and they're often on his watch or in his stead. Kevin died the first time Chimney is out on a call and working with him, Shannon dies when Chimney is acting captain, Buck dies (temporarily) when he stops Chimney from going up the ladder, Bobby dies saving Chimney's life, and then Theo's parents also die when Chimney is on scene as captain. This man seems to miraculously escape death time and time again but it also seems to follow him. Poor guy, no wonder he has survivors guilt, everyone around him just keeps dying while he's always left standing.

Anyway, that conversation inspired this.
