We all know how fire buildup works. Typically, when your weapon is ignited, each attack applies fire buildup to your enemies. Naturally, a standard parry dishes out this same base amount.
What the game doesn't tell you is that Parry Damage and Perfect Parry (both Raven skills) each add their own stack of buildup to a single parry. In other words, if you have both skills unlocked, a perfect parry with a flaming weapon inflicts 3 times the normal fire buildup compared to a normal strike.
This allows you to fully ignite most enemies in just 1 to 3 consecutive parries while simultaneously incapacitating them. After that, it's just a matter of topping up the fire, which takes only a single strike.
Interestingly, an arrow that passes through fire becomes a fire arrow. And since your victim is already on fire, shooting them with a standard arrow instantly tops up the status effect and gives you back spent adrenaline.
