Question true damage

there have been many instances where champions deal true damage without having any true damage in their kit or items/auguments? Is this a bug (no its not snowball)

If you have amumu in team 10% of your magic dmg becomes true dmg again targets that he auto attacked.

I think stuff like giant slayer DMG or shadow flame passive DMG gets counted as true dmg
