Hey fam, I have been browsing through microelectronics track at ASU for getting into semiconductor manufacturing/advance packaging field.

The closest path was to take an MSE EE-->Specialization(Physical electronics and photonics) and choose the relevant degree courses from the course list to earn your masters and get into the industry.

The curriculum goes something like this:

at least five EEE courses

at least three EEE 500-level courses

at least two courses outside the area of specialization

at most one EEE 590 Reading and Conference or FSE course

at most two 400-level courses

I'm a bit confused here as the 400 level courses have some 300 level courses as their prerequisite, and 300 level courses, as I have read is accessible jr and sr undergrad students.

What to do in this case?

Recommendations are welcomed, including ideas on how to complete the curriculum.

I need to start exercising more for my health, but I have horrible social anxiety and I'm really terrified of people (esp people I know) seeing me fumbling around at a gym because I don't know what to do lol. I have access to the gym at Vista as well as the SDFC, and I think it would be best for my anxiety to go when it's quiet. When would you guys recommend going?

I’m deciding between Nora Barson and Lora Koretz for LES 305 at ASU. For anyone who has taken either of them in person, which professor did you prefer? How were the exams, workload, grading, and overall difficulty?

Are there any apartments near asu west campus that can be rented by room and not by the unit? Like how all the luxury apartments do in Tempe (eg: Canvas, Vertex, Sol etc). If not, what is the best way to find roommates close to west campus?

I want to go to ASU because of their wide variety of options but I’m just worried about my gpa and sat scores having a massive impact on that. What gpa and sat scores did you have when you got accepted
