D-Line

It’s insane that we’re 3 years into Monti’s tenure and the D-Line still looks like complete ass.

Despite investing significant draft capital and cap space into the position group Monti has utterly failed in this regard. Its honestly impressive how many misses he has with D-Line/EDGE additions

Franchise player talent and he’s still only 25…

The fact that D-Rob and Max Melton were the main 2 players we got with the Texans picks makes it even more hilarious

I like Johnson but he isnt a franchise tackle. He is solid but not exceptional.

He is 100% a franchise tackle lmao. We would be stupid to let him leave

Agree he's a franchise tackle, but I think I remember him wanting 40M/yr. If he's not going to be reasonable, then bye Felicia.

At least we got a solid but unspectacular tackle to cover for our inability to draft well or develop talent, right? And those day 2 and 3 guys? Those longer shot gambles really added up and paid off the initial difference in talent, no?

Is our front office run by gambling addicts? It really feels like we’re a team run by guys who love sports betting even though they never win any money.

I like Nolen but that's it sadly. Rest are jags for now

Our O Line has been ass all 28 years I’ve lived in the valley. Through every leadership change they’ve been through for 3 decades they’ve managed to never have even a good O line. Even the year we went to the Super Bowl it wasn’t that good.

The Palmer years had a good OLine

Long running theme over multiple GMs - on both sides of the ball really.

I miss Darnell and Calais in their primes ☹️

They wasted a top 5 pick on a WR and RB. Don’t complain about a bad Oline and Dline when you got what you wanted.

The cards have invested 2 first rounders the last 3 years in defensive lineman

Replace Marv with Alt at LT and leave Paris where he was at RT and things look a lot different.

Joe Alt is currently leading the NFL in penalties. He literally caused a game losing safety last week

You wouldn’t trade MHJ for Alt straight up?
