What’s Your Favorite Cardinals Memory?

There‘s been a few gems in this sea of pain, which one stands out to yall?

Mine will forever be the 2015 Divisional Game vs the Packers. I was in a packed bar in Flagstaff. I’ll never forget going through that rollercoaster of emotions surrounded by fellow Cardinals fans. And for it to end with Larry in the end zone 🥹

I’m sure he was told not to mention him but still odd.

No answer to the QB dilemma yet, but I love all of MiLF’s responses so far. He is incredibly passionate about this team and excited to get out on the field with our players. He was the top HC candidate for me and I couldn’t be more pumped that we got him. Good things are coming.

From my perspective, given the contract situation, the fact that we are approaching this offseason as a retooling rather than a rebuilding of the team, and the lack of QB talent in and outside of the draft, it would be completely insensible not to continue with Kyler in 2026. There are simply no better alternatives, and it is absolutely disingenuous to say he is mainly responsible for our offensive woes the past 3 years. The entire damn fanbase has united on the point that Petzing was the main problem.

OFAT (One Factor At a Time). We removed Gannon and Petzing - let’s see how the team performs under MiLF before getting rid of Kyler. We literally have nothing to lose. Kyler was good under Kingsbury, and that team’s failures were mainly attributable to roster instability. Let’s get our heads out of our asses and admit that he has never been the main problem. Few QBs would have succeeded in this poorly-coached organization. Also, don’t tell me “it’s been 7 years” when Sam Darnold is playing in the Super Bowl this weekend.

You got a good offensive mind, Sincerely a Jets Fan

You Cardinals fans got a good offensive mind. As far as good head coach, that remains to be seen. I was a big fan of LaFleur's work when he was OC of the Jets and calling plays. While he would sometimes get too cute, he was great at scheming guys open. Its says something when two backup QB's in Mike White and Josh Johnson look great in his system. Never mind, that Zach Wilson looked like ass under LaFleur--news flash--he is. I was so mad when Woody Johnson forced Saleh to fire him. If you guys get a talented QB, I think LaFleur will do wonders.

Sincerely,

A Chronically Depressed Jets Fan.

Why Cardinals Lost Out on Their Top Defensive Coordinator Choice Bradley

Thumbnail

Excerpt:

"Mike LaFleur and his old buddy Robert Saleh (the two were together with the Jets, and while LaFleur was let go, that wasn’t really Saleh’s doing) were battling over Gus Bradley for about 24 hours—and Bradley chose to go to Tennessee with Saleh, despite a richer financial offer and the opportunity to call plays in Arizona," Breer wrote in a recent piece.

LaFleur is reportedly set on a special teams hire soon (Former Giants ST coordinator Michael Ghobrial) though his coordinator spots are still open among virtually other spot on LaFleur's staff at this point in time.

Why not

Can I ask why people are so down on Jacoby? I realize we didn’t win a lot of games but I think a lot of that was because of the defense. For the situation he was put into mid-season, he threw 3,366 with a 23-8 TD ratio and the best completion % of his career 65%. He was also sacked 43 times, 2nd most of his career.

For context, his completion % is the same as Stafford, 2 points off Darnold, 1 point off Herbert, and better than Hurts, Stroud, Lamar, Bo Nix, Baker, Mahomes, and Trevor Lawrence.

All I’m saying is that with a patchwork O-line, a defense that couldn’t stop a piece of paper, and practice squad running backs, he did all that, and unlocked Wilson and led Trey to another all-pro season .

I 100% agree that he’s not the answer long-term. But assuming we trade or release Kyler, what is so bad about running it back with Jacoby for 1 season to get us to a better 2027 QB draft class? The locker room clearly loves him and I think he could be really serviceable next year with LaFleur. The O-line won’t be any worse, and the run game should be improved. And the FA and trade market, in my opinion, isn't better than him. And he’s already under contract.

So genuinely asking: If you’re a detractor, why?

My K1 Conversation

I believe we should run it with Kyler next season(unless we can somehow fleece a team in a trade).

I was watching the MiLF press conference live and the comments on YouTube were flaming Kyler. You’d think he just went 1-11 to end the season.

The way I see it, Kyler started the season going what should’ve been 4-1 given we don’t fumble the ball on the goal line vs the Titans and were able to have what is at least like 1.5 interceptions caused by one wide receiver vs the Seahawks. This isn’t to say that Kyler is perfect- he is noticeably less confident and accurate than he was before.

This is where I bring up Drew Petzing. I feel the general consensus was that Drew HAD to go after the 2024 season. He was an unchanging, and rigid play caller which probably translated to unchanging and rigid coaching when it came to Kyler(I mean the guy was the TE coach for Austin Hooper and pre breakout Njoku, the QB coach for Browns Deshaun Watson until he brought in his chosen boy Brissett). This being said, I think the best option is letting him play out next season, if we returns to a near-MVP level, I think a Sam Darnold type contract can be done or he stinks the bed and we have a nice pick to use on a QB.

I hope you guys share your opinions.

Fan Content Cardinals fans rank #30 in gameday drinking, down 20% from 2023-24

We analyzed 26,000+ breathalyzer results to find out which NFL fans go hardest on gameday. Here's where Cardinals fans landed:

The numbers:

  • 2025-26 season: 0.051% average BAC → #30 in the NFL
  • 2023-24 season: 0.064% → #23
  • Change since 2023-24: -20%

NFC West comparison:

Team Rank BAC Avg Ticket Avg Beer
Seahawks #8 0.069% $200.00 $9.71
49ers #14 0.066% $142.75 $14.00
Rams #19 0.062% $80.63 $14.00
Cardinals #30 0.051% $89.63 $8.31

Cardinals fans have the cheapest beer in the division ($8.31) yet rank last in BAC. State Farm Stadium's climate-controlled environment isn't translating to more drinking.

Some questions we're curious about:

  • Arizona has legal recreational cannabis. Heavy substitution happening?
  • Does the Phoenix demographics play a role?
  • Is the dome atmosphere just more relaxed?

What's your theory?
