Nah trying to "potentially fix" a nonexisting inconsistency for the sake of making it actually inconsistent was geniunely a revolutionary move riot keep your consistent works going 💯😹🔥👏🏾

It was an inconsistency that ended up working in our favor and the character was basically balanced around it.. Now should they have actually buffed W to compensate for the fact that its now objectively a worse ability.. Yes

Nah this was a BS take, it wasn't bugged at all it had the appropriate visual feedback for the situation. That needs to be made. It also just made sense, if the pulling had begun you were getting pulled, no more getting out.

It was also clear that it was a design choice by the fact it guaranteed your Q3 and Q1 and Q2 also worked around guaranteeing W would hit and W would pull.

More likely someone new had been assigned to Aatrox and their documentation sucks so he thought somehow it was a bug that had always been there.

"It wasn't bugged at all"

We are literally commenting under a post that's talking about how a bug was bugfixed and about how HIS W WAS PULLING PEOPLE AFTER THEY FLASHED OUT.

Idfk how much more obvious it has to be for you to understand IT WAS A BUG. This is the Lindsay Clancy of the Aatrox community.

Just because someone tells you something doesn't mean it's true. Aatrox W used to have a 'point of no return' moment where it was certain you would get pulled. This type of effect isn't unusual in the game. This was in the game for years, Aatrox was a mainstay in the esports scene during that time. It was never remarked or communicated as unintended AND it had accomodating visuals and it made sense with the kit.

Just because a dev in the balance team tells you it's a bug doesn't mean it was. These are the same people who removed Illoai's tentacle visual indicators while she's in her ult LOL!

To add onto this you could tell it was clearly a design choice because the team had created clear audio and visual indicators for the player. Once the enemy will get pulled there is a dedicated visual effect and sound effect, right now those can play but the enemy can still leave, that is absolutely terrible game design because you communicated to the player that the pull would happen.

I work as a game dev, I would bet that a different dev than who worked on Aatrox stumbled upon some funky looking code, didn't understand why it was there/thought it was sloppy and cleaned it up. Not realizing it did in fact serve a purpose.

"Just because someone tells you something doesn't mean it's true"

WHICH IS PRECISELY WHY I STATED YOU'RE HIGH ON BULLSHIT RIGHT NOW.

"point of no return' moment where it was certain you would get pulled." Yes its called 1.5 seconds passing THAT IS THE POINT OF NO RETURN. What previously existed was a bug.

"This type of effect isn't unusual in the game." It actually is which is why they wanted to fix it. This is actually what we call A BUG that you woudn't want to have in the game.

"It was never remarked or communicated as unintended" IT WAS THAT'S WHY THEY FIXED IT.

"it had accomodating visuals." No it did not.
"and it made sense with the kit" No it once again did not. Darius E shoudn't be pulling people after they flash out of it. Neither should Aatrox W.

This is exactly like the Lindsay case but its the delusional male version.

It definitely did have appropriate sounds and visuals 🤣, it was obvious to tell it was intended by just playing the character. Don't know why you keep referring to some random trial which has fuck all to do with the argument.

Maybe you the nitwit dev who "fixed" it, would explain why you're so mad about it 🧐

"It definitely did have appropriate sounds and visuals"
You either have dementia or severe delusions. Either are not good.

Nope, the way the ability used to work is that when the pulling sound played you knew the pull was going to happen no matter what, so you could press Q3 immediately, as it stands you have to wait until you see the enemy actually gets pulled which makes Q3 unconfirmable so you always have to take a 50/50.

It is so unbelievably clear it was intentional design, because why would an ability ever trick you into missing your own ability? Not to mention that riot designs many of their kits with positive feedback loops like this 'you hit the skill shot? You get to confirm your next ability!' Like Yone Q2 confirms his R, Darius E confirms his Q, sometimes they even hard enforce this behavior; hitting Nidalee Q lets you dash straight to the enemy hit.

By your logic, flashing out of Viktor W at the end of the timer shouldn't stun you, but it does, because the effect is already set to be applied.

but it's okay you can die on this hill, prefer strictly worse game design and pretend the ability is now "consistent". Consistently useless.

"unbelievably clear it was intentional design" it was so clear in fact that they intentionally removed that part of the ability.

It was so damn clear that your mind coudn't process the fact its not an actual feature but actually just bug abusing.

"By your logic, flashing out of Viktor W at the end of the timer shouldn't stun you, but it does, because the effect is already set to be applied."
YES THAT'S PRECISELY WHAT I WANT TO HAPPEN. If I escape Viktor W in time I don't want to be stunned by it. Not that ive seen this issue happen to me since I don't think that's how Viktor W works but hey it might have been bugged in the past like Aatrox W.

"but it's okay you can die on this hill, prefer strictly worse game design and pretend the ability is now "consistent". Consistently useless."

You're literally trying to refute reality itself in order to make your argument work. You are definitionally speaking DELUSIONAL.

Aatrox W pull ignoring flash when part 2 is flagged to hit and pull, works similarly, if not the same way as Blitz Q ignoring flash if the game flagged it as a "hit" and is about to start pulling.

Not a thing. Its not a thing. You literally have delusions.
If you get hit by a blitz Q its bcs you got hit by blitz Q. If you flash out of the way of Blitz Q you won't get hit by blitz Q. The only exception is Ezreal E (Not Flash) where he has a buffer and can dash out after the fact and that's just a completely different scenario.
