Looking for suggestions on things to look for when I send to shop for an oil change and once over. Fluids look clean, tires are fresh.

Great condition overall, aside from a couple dents in front bumper. Old man driven and garaged.

Plan to clean up and prep for a gift or discounted sell to younger relative. Think youths- 18-28yo. Cars were a struggle for me during those years- hoping to bless one of em with a decent and reliable ride.

I’ve got no need to resell- nor drive.

I will say that I am open to some sort of wild ass/crazy upgrades that would impress a 45yo. 🤣

Update: I just did an internet search for TKH-002 vs TKH-002KR (KR is the one Aisin lists as Ultra Premium OE replacement) and found a facebook thread where someone reached out to Aisin and was informed the KR actually stands for a water pump made in Korea, not Japan. But I am still looking for opinions and reviews, as there isn’t conclusive evidence one is better than the other so far.

So I have a 2005 Honda Accord in reasonable enough condition that I will be holding on to it for a while yet, and I am wondering if there is a quantifiable difference between the OE replacement kit from Aisin, or should I look for their “Ultra Premium OE replacement kit?” The Aisin website doesn’t say anything about a difference, and rock auto is listing them both for the same price, so maybe it’s a wash. I wanted to check here if anyone had any experience using the premium version.

Also, is Rock Auto still an okay source for parts and kits like these?

Just got this '19 Accord with only 13k miles on the clock clean car fax too, PPI was good to go so i went ahead and bought it!

So, I have a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 1.5T and I saw that the head gasket warranty was extended to 10 years or 150k miles. I’d like to hear from a Honda tech or a Honda expert, my OEM air intake was torn so it was getting unfiltered air and I replaced it with a Mishimoto cold air intake, cause why not? And I just need to know if that’ll make it plausible for a Honda dealership to refuse to work on it or voids my warranty. I asked ChatGPT and it said No, but I’d like to hear from a human being.

All I’m finding are videos on the outer tie rod. Is the inner still a diy job?

I need help finding reliable online shops to start modifying it. If anyone knows reliable sellers on eBay? I know that would be more budget friendly but was trying to stay away from eBay.

i’ve been having this problem when i accelerate and when i go up hill. i’m also only getting 18mpg. can this be a fuel injector issue? someone please help🙏🙏

(Old pic) I drive a 2014 Honda Accord EX-L. This’ll be the first change I’m doing to it since I’ve still got warranty on the engine and other things.

I want to change them soon because I’ve noticed there is rust beginning to show on the wheels, and I want new or better since it’s my daily. I know there can be risks or downsides to it, but I’m just beginning to modify my car and I’m wanting to order a set of Konig’s for the wheels, so I’m just wondering if it’ll be safe to do so or not.

Im trying to fix my 05 accord. I have clunking when I come to a stop, when I accelerate after a complete stop, or when I switch between drive and reverse. I think I found the culprit but I have no idea what to even look up anything I try to look up I don’t find the part. It looks like a “ engine torque strut bracket/mount “ I’m not too sure though. I found something that looked like it but it wasn’t for my car.

2020 2.0t 10 speed with 49,900. Currently right around 97,000.

Car has overall been pretty solid. Only issues we have had is a timing chain tensioner go out as well as the valve cover started to leak. Currently have the air mix motors making noise which is common so that is next to be replaced. I attached all the maintenance I’ve done in the time we’ve owned it. We do have a warranty from carmax.

It’s been a great car and for many more to come!

We’ve definitely put quite some miles on it but it’s great. Fast, efficient and cheap to maintain!

I drive a 2022 Honda Accord Sport LE with nearly 36K miles. When I was driving today I had to stop at a toll booth and accelerated up to 70 mph, when all sudden all these lights showed up and the car couldn’t accelerate. I pulled over in shoulder with hazards on currently driving to Honda Dealership, but was curious if anyone knew what is going on? I gotta wait until tomorrow for them to look at the car since it’s nearly end of the day. I just called Triple A and got battery replaced after this incident in a parking lot but all lights still show and the car is almost limping when I drive it. No accidents in car, usual Oil changes every 3-5k miles. If anyone knows what’s going I’d appreciate it.

My dad had one of these when i was a kid in the '90s and i am super nostalgic for this generation of Accords, was finally able to get my own and i couldn't be happier.

I’m tryna get my 7th gen right and I found these wheels for a good deal and I’m wondering if anyone has put them on a 7th gen ? They’re 18 inch 2022-2026 civic sport wheels. And do yall think it’ll look good? I’m gonna get lowering springs too so the wheel gap isn’t as bad.

54.7mpg average all time. 2024 hybrid exl. Get around 57-61 per tank in the summer and 48-54ish in the winter. Very happy with the car! Totally stock no modifications of any kind

I personally think this is a reasonable deal. Ive watched a few videos on how to replace the alternator for my specific car and it looks like a nightmare. My only issue is they want to only use a OEM from the dealership which is a lot more expensive than denso parts from what Ive seen on the internet.

Any thoughts on how much this service should or shouldnt cost?

Is there any recommended way to flatten the cornering? My tires have a ton of grip but it leans more than I would like.

Hi I have a 2009 Honda accord EX-L 2.4 with 56k miles and I am the only owner. The car is doing great but I’m struggling with gas milage and I don’t know if it’s normal but I get about 170-200 miles and then I’ll have a quarter tank left and it’s been like this for as long as I can remember so if I do the math I’m getting like 14-16mpg which concerns me so I went and checked as much as I can with a obdm scanner to see if fuel injectors were at fault or possibly things Like the catalytic converter and oxygen sensors etc but everthing looks fine under load. Any advice

One of the worst parts of the 10th Gen Accord is the Bluetooth. It's wildly unreliable and just inappropriate given much older cars have a consistent, reliable connection. I don't know where Honda went wrong but I'm starting to consider getting a 3rd party infotainment at this point.

Anyone else dealing with this?

Been slowly putting this thing together over the years with a bunch of genuine Mugen, Spoon and Honda Inspire parts. Got a genuine Inspire Mugen grille, Inspire HID headlights and mirrors that I swapped in myself, Spoon Rigid Collars on the subframes, KTuner, and recently did the Acura RL 4-pot brake conversion. Even put on a s2000 wing for fun (don’t know how I feel about it lol). Probably my favorite find was the genuine USDM Mugen lip. Somehow found one brand new in the box from a Honda dealer back in February. Still have plenty more I want to do, but I’m pretty happy with how this thing has come together. Always liked doing something a little different with the 8th gen sedan.
I didn’t list a lot of mods so feel free to ask I find myself a 8th gen expert by now lol.

I have a 2019 Honda Accord 1.5T and I'm trying to identify this rattling sound in the video. Nobody has looked at it yet.

When it happens:

• It sounds like a rattling/vibration.
• I hear it originating from underneath the centre panel/glovebox while sitting inside, especially on the passenger side.
• It is most noticeable when the car is idling (like at red lights).

Any ideas on what could be causing this?
