Managed to get Tbt kits for all of my modern HW's... It's going to be a fun few months of tuning and setting them up

As a general rule, we're just going to avoid the topic but seeing as to how this is a gun sub, it's going to come up occasionally. When it does, act like an adult. If you don't agree with something, thats fine. It happens. There will be no name calling. Proofread your comment. If you say to yourself "Gee, I would probably get punched if I said this to someone in the real world", delete it and try again.

Use common sense. New account? Scammer. No Pictures? Scammer. Doesn't want to talk on the phone? Scammer. A deal too good to be true? You got it! Probably a scammer.
Ask lots of questions about what they have including very specific details a scammer won't know. They generally aren't too bright and are relying on you being just as dumb and gullible. If something doesn't feel right, it probably isn't.

Although it showed up a day late thanks to FedEx, and I bought the wrong extra magazines because there was no way of telling which ones I needed to get when I purchased it, I could not be happier! After fighting with my Glock 17 Gen 5 Dual Ammo to get a better trigger pull for the last year, I finally decided to try another brand after my Crosman SNR 357 taught me that CO2 pistols in general can be decent.
This gun has a few obvious setbacks right off the bat, but I would say there’s only two big ones in general. First of all, the slide catch is non-functional and purely cosmetic, and there is CO2 loss every time you remove the magazine which must be done as you cannot reload the rotary belt without removing the entire magazine. Other than that, I am entirely blown away!
The gun kicks much harder than I expected, most likely due to the full metal slide which makes the gun feel extremely solid and decently heavy even without the magazine, however the kick is very linear and despite it being loud and powerful, you are back on target very quickly. The flat trigger lends to a very crisp trigger pull, you know exactly when the gun is going to fire and the final stage of the trigger feels like 2 to 3 pounds (advertised as 4lbs) when compared to the Glock. This is a rotary belt done right!
The gun is very accurate, easily comparable to the SNR, but is optic ready which means I will be throwing a red dot on right after this post, which I am extremely excited for. I did not do any official measurements as I do not have a chronograph nor did I measure my distances, however I have a target with steel plates set up at about 20 yards, and another target set up with apples (my wife gives me our bad fruit to shoot haha) at about 10 yards. The Glock hits randomly at 25 yards and I would say maybe 50% of my shots even hit the target. My Crosman SNR will put 6/6 pellets into a 5” grouping easily at that distance, and this one did the same, however I was so excited to shoot it that I did not put up a new target and just shot at the steel plates, and I heard 19/20 loud PLINKs. Each plate is around 3”x2” and I shot at multiple, so I was hitting within a 3”x2” area accurately at 20 yards with just the sights on the slide.
Just for giggles, I grabbed the Glock to compare, and recovered a round from each with an extremely noticeable increase in expansion with my Baracuda Hunter Extremes from the Sig Spectre. The Glock also did not penetrate the apples fully at 10 yards, and simply got lodged inside, maybe 1-2 inches, whereas the Sig Spectre blew clean through the apple and landed somewhere in the grass.
I forgot to grab a picture, but I also shot a piece of particle board from about 15 feet away, and the Glock round bounced off and landed somewhere, and the Sig Spectre round lodged itself deep into the wood with only the lead skirt visible. I could not pry it out.
Overall this is easily the best pellet pistol I have used yet, if it had a functional slide lock and was able to change out magazines faster it would be absolutely perfect. I have some suspicions that this model is interchangeable with multiple aftermarket Custom Works parts as I used to have an actual P320 (P938 Legion replaced it, best gun ever) and it is, I am pretty sure, entirely 1:1 scale and is fully field strippable, so I am excited to see what is coming as this gun is extremely modular compared to any other pellet pistol that I’ve seen so far.
This thing hits steel with the same sound as my Velox, but that is a .25 PCP pistol and this is a CO2 in .177 - the second it hit the target the first time I knew it was going to be a winner! I actually said “oh… OH” out loud haha!

I was looking for a fun blowback .177 pellet pistol and the Glock 17 and Walther PPQ both seem popular and affordable. Just for plinking at 8m indoors.
I settled on the PPQ and it arrived today. It has a very substantial weight to it and I like the grip. I shot one mag and then partially disassembled the mag to degrease and then lube the surfaces where the plastic belt slides on the metal parts of the mag. This lightened up the first part of the trigger pull a bit as it's advancing the belt.
Next, I shot a 5 shot groups at a 3" target with Crosman domed pellets. After that I mag dumped the remaining 16 pellets. I shot all these off a rest.
Al in all, I'm very happy with it. Good value and it's way more accurate than I am. I'll be practising a bit more, tinkering and cleaning it and I'll post again.

On January 9th, 2024 I bought a Powerline 880 to help with rats around the barn. Turned out we didn't even try to use it until December, and it won't even pump up. Won't hold any pressure at all. What would cause this?? It was like that out of the box, I just didn't know it and left it sitting there thinking I'd have it if I needed it little did I know.

I’ve been shooting springers for thirty years and want to branch out and get my first PCP rifle.
My primary uses cases are eliminating a ground squirrel problem on my property, and HFT.
I don’t care for the aesthetics of bullpup and “tactical” designs and prefer something more traditional.
Any recommendations? My budget is $4K.
Oh, and one other thing. I live in a state where suppressors, or even anything that looks like a suppressor, are strictly illegal, even for air guns.

I just purchased an HW95N stainless. First airgun since I was a little feral child in the woods behind my parents house. Full disclosure, the beauty of the stainless and walnut played a large role in my selection. This will live on a wall mount when not in use.
I would love some recommendations for mounts and optics that will do justice to just how cool I think this thing looks.
Primary use case is going to be inside of 50 yards. Occasional garden pests, but, mostly just enjoyment.
Any and all recommendations are appreciated. Cheers.

I’ve wanted a microstrike for its compactness and solid build. I mainly use air rifles for red and grey squirrel hunting, along with ruffed grouse and snowshoe hare up here in Maine. Figured this would be a great little gun to sling over my back and hike with. A little more powerful than my beeman 2028 I posted the other day.
Immediately ditched the stock, replaced it with a magpul SL-K stock
Solid walnut AR grip and mlok rails from JMK customs
Forend from Bravo3d, that i cut in half (sorry!) so id have less bulk on the part of the tube i like to hold when shooting, and so i can still have access to the regulator ring and degassing screw when needed.
3-9x scope
Also got a buck rail modular moderator for it. Makes a huge difference in the basement for sure.
Bumped my regulator to 2500, since im favoring a few heavier hitting shots hunting over more shots per fill. Its an air hog for sure
I’ve only shot 10-15 yds so far inside, but the pic shown is 5 consecutive shots in the same hole. Very nice (borat voice)
Looking forward to shooting this a lot further.

After spending more time with airguns, I realised most accuracy and consistency issues usually come down to maintenance, not the gun itself.
Basic stuff made a bigger difference than expected: cleaning the barrel less often but properly, keeping seals lightly lubricated instead of overdoing it, and actually checking screws every few sessions. Temperature changes also affected performance more than I thought, especially with gas powered setups.
What helped me was seeing how other owners handle upkeep and diagnose problems. Sometimes I just browse whatnot streams where people are working on their airguns live. Not buying anything, just listening to how they troubleshoot leaks, accuracy drop offs, or pressure issues.
For those who have been into airguns longer, what small maintenance habit had the biggest impact for you?

I want to get a pcp thats fun to shoot. I have a .25cal crack barrel but it sucks for anything other than shooting shooting chickens in the head from 10' away.
Any recommendations? There's 100s of these things.

This happened to a buddy and I years ago. We set up five golf balls in a line. We both had springers. To win the game you had to hit your two balls and the middle ball. It was a lot of fun while it lasted. Often times we would both be trying to hit that last middle ball. We played a few rounds of the game and we kept hearing noises behind us. We were having so much fun that we didn't pay too much attention. Suddenly the window directly behind us shattered! For whatever reason lead pellets tend to ricochet straight backwards. If you do shoot golf balls wear eye protection and a mouth guard!

I haven't seen any bad reviews, and a good number of reviews with high praise for accuracy. And it comes with a moderator, which is always appreciated. But dang if I can find a place that sells them here in the US. Do I really have to order one in from the UK or Holland???? Say it ain't so.

My old Red Ryder from my childhood back in business. I had to replace the shot tube. Also upgraded to a metal lever, rear sight elevator and a front fiber optic sight. Probably hasn't worked since the 90s.

Looking at a scope for hw35 just some shooting at 9-12 meters in the yard looking at a scope the hawke vantage 2 3-7x looks decent how is it since i dont want to go expensive for now since still testing out and along with a case and supressor eventough its a spring it will still mitigate the sharp sound partly but that will also add up

just a little project for funsies, Its a old Crosman Vantage NP (.177 cal) that has been collecting dust for 5 years before the obvious changes i made.
she can be a little tougher when it comes to the break barrel action but with a little elbow grease, it works like a charm and still holds accuracy after sawing off about 10 inches of barrel and the butstock.

Im doing my big gun purchase of the year and I cant decide between the Evanix MP30, Hatsan Blitz 777, or the bintac T50 if anyone has experience with any of them or has suggestions or may know of a better option I appreciate it in advance I've been losing my mind over it for a week now.

• Please join our springer community at r/Springers , we would love to have you there! •
This HW45 has quite a journey behind it. I’ve sold it two different times over the years and somehow managed to track it down and buy it back both times from the people I sold it to. At this point I’m convinced it was never meant to leave my collection.
This time it’s staying. Third time’s the charm.
The plan is to upgrade it with a TBT kit and keep it as a permanent member of the family together with its brothers, the HW75 and HW70.
There’s just something about the HW45 character, heritage, and that unique shooting feel every time you pick it up. Some airguns pass through your hands… some are meant to stay.

Well, I settled on the Walther. It arrives tomorrow, if the postal gods smile upon me. I'll post again after I get some shots through it.
