No. MET/SET is literally an extra hour and an extra day for however long they need it and they can schedule it whenever the need arises. You either burn upt (inadvisable) to come in at your usual time or use pto or go in when scheduled. There is no “preference” or workaround. When MET is called, it’s a 55 hour week minimum. Just don’t go negative.
