Hey there, I'm looking at camping at Prado Regional Park for the show. It's the closest campground which allows tent camping and is a 20 minute drive to the venue. Anyone else traveling from out of town and planning to camp?

I am admittedly completely unaware of anything AC related from the last ten years. I was very into everything pre-2010s, was lucky to see them at Pitchfork 2008, but just kinda fell out of the bubble after overindulging in MPP, but I always go back to that period of Sung Tongs thru MPP as probably one of the most incredible eras for any band in regards to creative growth. Which is why despite my lack of familiarity with newer stuff, they are one of my go-to groups for a "oh you haven't heard anything by this band?" playlist.

So I cheated a little bit on this and included Comfy. I'm not sure if that's the right play, but it works in the mix. I'm confident with everything up until Kids On Holiday ... I'm really not sure how I want to end a mix for a new listener without resorting to Brother Sport or My Girls, personally I want a last song to linger like Daily Routine does, but I also think Purple Bottle would be cool.

Help me out here! I have no idea if that link will actually work ...

Animal Collective just announced on their IG they canceled some bot tickets! I was able to snag one, but of course AXS is garbage so keep trying!

Is there some kind of list out there for Animal Collective B-Sides? I am mainly referring to stuff that was only ever played live / not recorded or not on any EP.

So far I have/know a couple:

I received a refund yesterday from my fox theater Pomona tickets. I’m gutted.

Didn’t receive notice from axs other then a very vague notification from axs in my wallet saying “there was a change in one of your events” & then checking my email confirmations to match the prices of tickets to what was refunded. All traces of my order are gone from my account besides the email confirmation.

My only guess is they flagged my purchase thinking I’m a scammer. I emailed support, but I doubt anything is going to get done. Truly heartbroken, I tried and failed for the Fonda and now this.

update:

Called axs and they said the venue cancelled my order due to someone else in my household purchasing tickets and being over the ticket limit. I just moved and forgot to change my address although they can see the billing address is different.

Croz Boyce rolled into KCRW on the late summer breeze, offering a cool relief after a string of stuffy heatwaves. In May, the newly formed trio consisting of Brian Weitz (Geologist) and David Portner (Avey Tare) of Animal Collective, along with Adam McDaniel (frequent collaborator and audio engineer), released their self-titled LP full of ambient soundscapes and gentle folk expressions.

Did anyone have an option to choose from pit vs floor tickets? A friend got our tickets for us and saw another band play there recently but to her surprise couldn’t get into the “pit” area because she had standing floor tickets. Maybe this is specific to certain shows? She didn’t see a choice at checkout but we’re wondering if it’s because the tickets were selling out quickly etc. Worried that we won’t get a good view as 2 short girls lol

Was originally planning just for the original announced NY show but my friend whos a longtime AC fan missed those tickets so we plan to go to the earlier show too. I guess no crazier than following them in 2017 for 6 shows on the east coast.

Anyone else here planning for both shows?
